SEAT BELTS
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks manufactured June 20, 2012, to January 26, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the side impact sensor calibrations may be overly sensitive, and as a result, the side air bag inflatable curtains and seat air bags may unexpectedly deploy and the seat belt pre-tensioners may activate.
Fix: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will update the Occupant Restraint Control module calibration, free of charge. The recall began on September 8, 2015. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is R23.

Although not reported to the dealer initially when under warranty, the driver seat belt would come undone when driving down the highway. At first I thought I hadn't secured the buckle properly but even after ensuring the seat belt buckle was securely locked it still would unlatch itself and the seat belt alarm would go off.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 ram 1500. The contact stated that the middle seat in the back row of the vehicle, which was purchased yesterday, did not have shoulder and lap belts. The contact notified the local dealer who stated that the seat should have a lap belt only.

I can be driving down the road and the driver seat belt will unhook by its self . An I was pulling a trailer and the tailgate must of came open and I didn’t notice and the trailer jack dented my tailgate.

The seat belt locks and then when I unlatch it and try to put it back on, I can't because it stays locked and won't pull AT ALL to be able to put it back on.

Randomly while the vehicle is in motion with a passenger in the right front seat the seat belt associated with that seating position will become unbuckled. This is random and happens regularly with different passengers without the passenger touching the latch mechanism.
