Truck dashboard is showing warning/hazard lamps for Automatic Braking (ABS), Emergency Breaking, and trailer breaking. The cruise control is also not working. Error code C2200 is registered.

My truck, like those of numerous other Ram owners, has a malfunctioning ABS Control Module. Because of this malfunction, the ABS and cruise control do not work. In turn, this places me and other owners of this vehicle in an unsafe situation in that lack of an operating ABS system is conducive to skidding and accidents.

I was pulling out from my street that connects to a two lane highway. From my street you can see if cars are coming from quite a distance away. There was a semi truck in the distance going east bound in the direction I needed to torn into.

About a dozen times the accelerator pedal sticks to the floor. The pedal stays depressed even when my foot is not on it anymore. The vehicle races uncontrollably as fast as it can.

After resolving recall for emmsuons on my 2015 ram 1500 ecodiesel, the throttle response is lagging. After I make a turn onto a road the truck fails to accelerate when the gas peddle is being pushed. It has about a 3-4 second leg time.

My 2015 ram 1500 ecodiesel recently received the v08 recall. Two weeks after the recall the truck broke down on the side of the road on july 01. The truck was in the shop until 07-19.

I have the ram ecodiesel 2015 model. It always had a slight hesitation in the accelerator which I consider normal. After having the software update for the emissions standards I now have a 3-5 second delay in acceleration which has caused me several times to almost be involved in accidents

Post aem update there is a severe lag in throttle response. After leaving the dealership/recall update I almost caused an accident due to the slow response after pressing the throttle to the floor. The truck just sat there for a few seconds before slowly moving.

On 3 different times my accelerator pedal has gotten stuck and accelerating to about 90 plus MPH while driving. I had to stomp on it several times to get it unstuck while riding the brake, I have read where other people have had the same problem as mine. However the dodge dealer said they have not gotten any recalls on this problem and can not do anything for me until there is a recall.

Issue: vehicle shifted out of park into reverse while idling with driver door opened. Truck began to roll backwards on a flat grade and hit a honda civic in the rear bumper with the opened drivers door which folded back onto the front drivers fender. Know one was in either vehicle and no injuries occurred.

P0299 under boost codes. After being thrown into limp mode and almost getting me and my family killed I got my dodge ecodiesel to the dealership. Said its a software issue and there is no fix.

My vehicle is a ram ecodiesel. Fca was caught installing software to fraudulently report emissions data and was ordered by the epa to install new software to bring emissions into compliance. I got this so-called "repair" in august in so doing, my vehicle (and many others) developed an acceleration lag that is quite dangerous -- particularly when the engine is just started.

On [XXX] numerous brake system warning dash lamps came on on your truck. I also noticed that once this happened the cruise control no longer works. The local RAM dealer could not inspect my truck for several days so I had an independent service center test it and he confirmed the anti-lock brake module had stopped working.

Dear NHTSA, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my experience with my 2015 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, particularly in relation to unresolved recalls and inadequate service from dealerships. Last year, I began experiencing significant issues with my truck, ultimately leading me to Southern Motors in Springfield. They diagnosed the problem as needing a new engine, which was concerning.

The ABS control module has failed over a year ago and factory replacement parts are unavailable. Mopar dealers advise they are on backorder with no expected delivery date. The failure of this unit disables the Anti-Lock Braking System, Electronic Stability Control and Electronic Speed Control.

The speed control system was working recently then stopped for no reason. It does NOT register info on the dashboard or engage. Completely out. Due to the recalls for so many others, this needs to be added to your list.

...The component that failed is the ABS and traction system, the hitch brake system and the cruise control also stopped working, all this abs and traction system when it stops working can cause the vehicle to not move have correct performance in its braking and skidding system, which can be dangerous, especially in severe rainy and humid climates. I took the car for inspection to the dealer in naplenton in kisiimmee fl and the diagnosis so far is that it has damage to the abs module and the abs pump, which must be replaced and whose price for parts and labor is around 1615 $ with a tendency to increase according to the dealer, so far I only have the diagnosis and quote of the arrangement, since the parts take around 7 days to be available. Yesterday I contacted the FCA inquiring about the warranties of the car on these parts and about an extended warranty that they had offered me in the past tense due to other damages that I had previously in the vehicle with other parts, I did not get a response from FCA about that warranty and The dealer tells me that I do not have any warranties to cover this repair, so I will have to put it out of my pocket. It should be noted that my truck is from 2015 and it is a work vehicle and it only has 54,000 thousand miles, that is, it is a truck that has been given the use and exploitation for which it is designed .... thank you very much

After completing the emissions recall on the eco diesel a significant lag in acceleration has occurred. This lag impacts ability to keep with the flow of traffic when merging etc. This is a safety hazard as it is unpredictable and driver cannot determine acceleration by simply pressing the pedal down - sometimes with a 5-10 second delay in response to accelerate.

The local dealership has not been able to address the problem in the first 2 service attempts and the issue has occurred within 200 driving miles, mostly highway.

On 5 different occasions this truck has gone into what the dealership is referring to as limp mode. No matter what speed you are traveling the truck involuntarily down shifts into a speed averaging 20 miles per hour without warning. This happened twice while traveling on the highway doing approximately 65 miles an hour.

Was on the on ramp passing a semi when I eased off the accelerator but the gas pedal stayed on the floor. I let off the gas pedal at approximately 40 MPH, the truck continued to speed up until it hit approximately 80 MPH when a service throttle body message lit up on the dash and released the gas pedal. The dealer currently has the truck for day number 4.

White stopped in traffic on a highway, after removing my foot from brake pedal, vehicle quickly accelerated without me putting my foot on the gas pedal. Check engine light and electronic throttle control light came on soon after. Vehicle would continue to accelerate (without me placing my foot on gas pedal) when I removed my foot from brake pedal.

In may 2019, ram released the v08 recall as part of an aem due to emissions complaints. After having this recall done, my driveability and acceleration has become unsafe. Trying to turn onto a feeder road or merge into traffic is basically dangerous.

This vehicle was recalled under the ecodiesel settlement and received an approved emissions modification. This update reprogrammed the vehicle computer to improve the emissions systems. This modification has created a drive-ability issue which causes the vehicle to fail to accelerate when depressing the accelerator pedal.

After the v08 recall the drivability of vehicle is dangerous. The fuel consumption and the lag of the engine is also a huge concern but it handles totally different. While it still seems decently reliable, for now, everyday unsureness of trying to anticipate how the vehicle will handle during driving is the primary factor.
