Your 2024 Kia Telluride's navigation system has outdated maps that don't reflect recent traffic pattern changes in your area, particularly at interstate highway exits where traffic flow has been reversed. The navigation system is incorrectly warning you that you're going the wrong direction and instructing you to turn into oncoming traffic, creating a serious safety hazard. You've been unable to get Kia to provide updated maps despite requesting them for over two years. The fix would involve Kia releasing and installing updated navigation map data to your vehicle's system.

Your Kia Telluride is subject to recall SC347A because side trim pieces can detach from the vehicle. You've already experienced two pieces falling off, with one becoming a road hazard while driving. The dealership has refused to perform the recall repair despite the known safety issue.

Your dashboard screen went completely black twice while you were driving, though it came back on later. This could make it difficult to see your speedometer and other important gauges while behind the wheel. The issue may involve the dashboard display unit or its electrical connections, which might need diagnostics or replacement.

You're experiencing a delay getting a recalled part fixed at your Kia dealership. The dealership has told you the part needed for the recall repair is on backorder and hasn't arrived after more than 4 weeks of waiting. This is a service scheduling issue rather than a mechanical problem with your vehicle itself.

Your 2024 Kia Telluride's windshield has cracked four times in just over two years during normal driving, caused by minor road debris like small rocks rather than major impacts. Each crack required repair or replacement, which is unusual for a vehicle of this quality level and suggests the windshield glass may not be as durable as expected. You're concerned the windshield material or thickness may have a design issue. Kia should evaluate whether this is a widespread defect and consider warranty coverage or replacement options.

Structure →3 issues
The trim on your 2024 Kia Telluride is coming loose and flapping in the wind, creating a safety hazard from potential debris. The dealer reattached it with adhesive, but it's not holding. The exposed rubber underneath looks terrible and is also falling off, which could affect your vehicle's resale value.

Your 2024 Kia Telluride has been recalled (Campaign 25V494000) for a structural issue, and the dealer has notified you that a fix is available. However, when you brought your vehicle in for the recall repair, the dealer told you that the required part hasn't arrived yet. You believe the manufacturer has taken too long to make this repair available. The repair will likely involve replacing or reinforcing a structural component once the part becomes available.

Your door belt molding trim—the protective strip running along your door frame—detached while driving at highway speeds on both your rear and front driver's side doors. The dealer confirmed this is a known issue, and there's an active recall (25V494000) for this problem, but the replacement part needed to fix it isn't currently available from the manufacturer. The trim may loosen gradually, as you might notice it becoming loose during a car wash before it completely falls off.

Seat Belts, forward Collision Avoidance →1 issue
Your 2024 Kia Telluride has two unresolved safety issues: the front bumper sensor mounting bracket detached on its own without any impact or accident, which could cause the forward collision avoidance sensor to misalign or malfunction; and a door belt molding recall repair at the dealership may not have been completed, leaving trim that could delaminate and detach while driving. You haven't received confirmation that either issue has been properly fixed, creating uncertainty about whether your vehicle's safety systems are working correctly.

Electrical System, vehicle Speed Control, forward Collision Avoidance →1 issue
Your instrument cluster display went completely black, leaving you without a working speedometer, fuel gauge, or mileage counter. None of your safety gauges are functioning either. This is a serious safety issue since you can't monitor your vehicle's speed or fuel level while driving.

Power Train →1 issue
Your 2024 Kia Telluride's transmission has failed multiple times — it's gotten stuck in 5th gear, shifted erratically, and caused unsafe acceleration. The dealership has replaced the transmission twice, but the same problem keeps happening. Your vehicle has spent over 100 days in the shop for this issue and remains unrepaired. The transmission may need to be inspected for internal defects, wiring problems, or a complete replacement with diagnostic testing to identify the root cause.

Unknown Or Other, service Brakes →1 issue
Your car rolled backward on its own after you put it in Park and turned off the engine. When you pressed the brake pedal, it went all the way to the floor without stopping the vehicle and felt spongy with no resistance. The electronic parking brake also didn't engage to hold the car in place. Your vehicle then crashed into your house. This is a critical safety issue that requires immediate inspection by a Kia dealer to diagnose why the braking system and parking brake failed simultaneously.

Latches/locks/linkages →1 issue
Your 2024 Kia Telluride's doors won't unlock using the key fob, and the manual key won't unlock them either. The hatchback door also won't open. This happened at 25,000 miles, and you've notified the dealer about the problem.

Structure,unknown Or Other,visibility/wiper →1 issue
While driving at 70 mph on the interstate in clear, mild weather, your sunroof glass suddenly exploded without warning, creating a loud noise. You were fortunate that no following vehicles were hit by debris and your interior visor was closed, preventing glass from entering the cabin. The dealership indicated they have seen this issue before and are handling the repair under warranty.

Forward Collision Avoidance, lane Departure →1 issue
Your forward collision avoidance and lane departure warning systems are disabling themselves, especially when it rains, snows, or roads are wet—but also occasionally in dry conditions. Your speedometer display has also gone black and required a battery reset to fix. The dealership says they can't find error codes and won't help, but the problem keeps happening, suggesting a potential electrical or sensor issue that needs proper diagnostic equipment to identify.

Engine →1 issue
Your Kia Telluride's engine can run unattended for extended periods without automatically shutting off or alerting you. In two separate incidents, your engine ran for hours without your knowledge — once for 4 hours in your driveway and once for nearly an hour in your garage. The vehicle only alerted you about the second incident because you had an active paid subscription to Kia Connect; without that subscription, you received no warning. This feature should be built into the vehicle itself rather than requiring a paid app subscription.

Vehicle Speed Control, forward Collision Avoidance →1 issue
Your car's adaptive cruise control uses camera-based speed limit detection to automatically set your cruising speed. Near Highway 190 and certain intersections, the system incorrectly reads road signs as a 90 mph speed limit and sets your cruise control to 95 mph, causing sudden unexpected acceleration. This has happened multiple times at different intersections in your area. The fix will likely require a software update to improve the camera's ability to correctly identify speed limit signs and filter out misread junction markers.

Power Train,engine →1 issue
Your 2024 Kia Telluride was recalled in April 2024 for faulty valve springs, but the dealership didn't replace the engine despite the recall. After multiple visits for various issues, Kia finally replaced the engine in August 2025, but you've also had persistent noise from the rear end that required replacing the differential, shocks, and rear cross member — yet the noise continues. The dealership has had your vehicle since late August 2025, and you're concerned the engine replacement may not be working properly because the unresolved rear noise is preventing proper diagnosis. Fixing the underlying issues may require additional rear suspension components and continued diagnostic testing by a field engineer.

Electrical System, unknown Or Other →1 issue
Your dashboard display occasionally goes blank or stops working entirely. The speedometer sometimes displays incorrect speed readings, and the fuel gauge has shown empty even when your tank was full. These issues appear without any warning messages. The dealer has scheduled service to diagnose and repair the display system.

Suspension →1 issue
Your rear shocks are making bumping and rattling noises when you drive at slow speeds, and the ride feels stiff in some situations. This suggests the shocks may be worn or damaged and need inspection. A mechanic will likely need to inspect and possibly replace the rear shock absorbers.
