SEATS:FRONT ASSEMBLY:POWER ADJUST
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2011-2012 Buick LaCrosse, Regal and Chevrolet Camaro, as well as certain 2010-2012 Cadillac SRX, Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain vehicles, equipped with power height adjustable driver and passenger seats. In the affected vehicles, the bolt that secures the driver's and passenger's power front seat height adjuster may fall out causing the seat to drop suddenly to the lowest vertical position.
Fix: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the height adjuster shoulder bolts, free of charge. The manufacturer distributed interim letters to owners on September 11, 2014. The recall began on December 26, 2014. Owners may contact GM customer service at 1-800-521-7300 (Buick), 1-800-458-8006 (Cadillac), 1-800-222-1020 (Chevrolet), or 1-800-462-8782 (GMC). GM's number for this recall is 14271.

THE HEADRESTS ON THIS CAR PUSH MY HEAD SO FAR FORWARD THAT I HAVE TERRIBLE PAIN WHILE DRIVING. I ALSO CANNOT SEE WHERE I AM GOING DUE TO THE EXTREME ANGLE OF MY HEAD JUTTING FORWARD. NOT TOO SAFE--ANY REASONABLE PERSON CAN FIGURE THIS OUT. IN ADDITION, THE CAR IS BURNING EXCESSIVE OIL. ALSO, WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE AFTER SLOWING DOWN IN HEAVY TRAFFIC, IT BOGS. AGAIN, NOT VERY SAFE. THIS CAR IS A PIECE OF CRAP--NEVER AGAIN WILL I GET A CHEVROLET. THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME!!
THE DRIVERS SEAT POWER ADJUSTER CAME UNSCREWED AND THE SEAT DROPPED DOWN. THERE IS A RECALL ON THIS ISSUE, BUT THIS VEHICLE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. I HAVE FIXED THE ISSUE TWICE NOW SINCE DECEMBER 2014. I HAVE PICTURES.

GM RECALL 14271 AFTER MAKING NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS OVER THE LAST 3 MONTHS TO BOTH THE LOCAL CHEVY DEALER AND CHEVROLET CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE CENTER THERE IS STILL NO PART AVAILABLE TO REMEDY THIS SAFETY ISSUE. THE ONLY RESPONSE IS THE "PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE" AND "WE HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THEY WILL BE IN." *TR
