2017 Nissan Rogue Engine Problems

My daughters vehicle 2017 Nissan Rogue has been jerking for months now. No check engine has been on. I have been told it is likely a transmission problem After doing some research this has been an ongoing problem with the Nissan Rogue but no recall has been issued in the state of Oklahoma.

My vehicle is starting to jerk at times. doesn't do it all the time, but it is bad. When driving it will jerk, and if the speed is 45 MPH and you hold it at that speed the steering wheel will shake.

The vehicle initially would not start on 1/17/18 while parked. I called nissan roadside and they sent a tow truck a few hours later. Vehicle was unable to be jumped.

My car engine randomly shut down while in drive and would not drive on two occasions. Nissan cannot find any evidence that anything is wrong with my car. They refuse to assist despite this being a known issue.

My vehicle has been inspected by an independent service center who agreed and acknowledged the shop has experienced multiple customers who've had the same issue and repairs needed, with 2016-2020 Nissans especially.

Around 80,000 miles our car, when it's been driven about an hour, starts to hesitate when I escalate when slowed or stopped. It's about a 3 second hesitation that is very dangerous if I try to drive across a busy 4 lane road. I have come very close to being hit several times due to this hesitation.

Took it to dealership paid almost $3000 and they told me they did the work yet the next day after picking the car up engine light was on again and the jerking while driving just got worse a lot of other nissan rouge has complain about these same situation

3rd time check engine light came on. 1st time they said it needed computer update. Next they said it needed a coil put in.

Car was going 50 MPH and suddenly lost capacity to accelerate due to transmission issue

Slipping and hard shifting of the transmission

There’s a problem with the transmission. The car was not accelerating so my mechanic looked at it and determined it need a new transmission. The car only has 81,300 miles on it.

When I am at a complete stop and I press on the accelerator, the car will lurch forward very slowly. This has happened many times while driving in heavy traffic and it is very unsafe.

Letter in the mail citing class action lawsuit VS Nissan regarding transmission issues - having same issues, car unable to start, causes battery to die.

My vehicle started having issues with the transmission around 90,000 miles. While driving on the highway the acceleration started having problems. I took into a nissan and they tested the vehicle and let me know the transmission failed.

Engine keeps on turn off with out notice.
