2017 Nissan Rogue Airbags Problems

My 16 year old son was driving the 2017 nissan rogue on [XXX] to our home around 7:30 pm. He veered and right front of vehicle struck a curb. Immediately the passenger side airbags exploded.

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The airbag system in my 2017 Nissan Rogue malfunctioned. The airbag warning light turned on, indicating a potential failure in the system.

Was driving on [XXX] from Sioux Falls, SD to Rapid City, SD on [XXX]. Just east of the [XXX], SD exit, we hit black ice driving approximately 75mph. We lost control, and the car went head first into a metal cable guard rail.

The OCS system has failed in my car. The passenger airbags are constantly turned off, even when a full sized adult is in the passenger seat, therefore putting them at risk if a crash were to occur. The yellow light indicating that the passenger airbag system is turned off is constantly on, as well as the red light on the dashboard indicating an airbag problem.

I was t- boned. My air bags did not deploy, my insurance company has my vehicle and I have contacted Nissan and waiting for a reply. I do have pictures of my vehicle as I was hurt in this accident and still receiving treatment and waitning on getting another MRI

I was in a four car accident Friday. Major front end and rear end damage. My car was totaled and no airbags deployed.

I was stopped to turn left on a main road, when a tractor trailer rear ended my car and then slide it sideways , hitting the side of the tractor trailer. The tractor trailer was leaning on my car. None of my airbags went off .

My vehicle was in motion on a city street with no pot holes no other vehicles were around and my airbags deployed all on their own. No accident occurred.

When making a u-turn on a city street my vehicle suddenly accelerated on it's own at full speed sending my car into a tree. The tree stopped the vehicle. None of the air bags deployed.

Front passenger sun visor was closed on the glass side, during the crash air bags opened and pushed broke it to passengers face and caused serious damage on face with nose fracture, which wouldn't have happened even without airbags.

"takata recall" june 24, 2018, I was on the highway driving and struck on the rims of the 2017 nissan rogue si. AWD by a passing truck. Both front and rear rims on the passenger's side, where my dog was seated.

My automatic emergency breaks was deployed twice, while driving 55-60 MPH on the freeway...

Takata recall - I have a new 2017 nissan rogue purchased in april 2017. While driving in my neighborhood less than 25 miles an hour, my daughter rubbed the curb with the back tire and the side airbags deployed. There is no body or other damage to the car at all.

Took car to local mechanic for airbag light. The passenger seat sensors register that someone is not sitting in the seat when someone is. The passenger seat OFF light is constantly on regardless of someone in the seat.

The Supplemental air bag warning light illuminated. I call dealership and they are willing to schedule an appointment and charge $225 for a diagnostic test. Depending on the issue, the solution/remedy may cost anywhere between $300 and $1000.

Passenger airbag sensor defective and doesn't work. Driver side seat is loose. These are safety issues and I shouldn't have to pay $3k to have them fixed especially when other 2017 rogues have had recalls for same problems, just different lots.

Bought a 2017 nissan rogue august 23, 2017. In january of 2018, noticed water collecting under passenger seat. Dealership said drain plugs to sunroof were clogged causing the cabin floors to fill with water.

When is cold the engine every morning when started the engine it sound ugly like no oil lubrication and after 5 five minutes of running it goes to normal and wear 2front tires only totally I complain to the dealer and they say is normal the sound of the engine and regarding to the wear of front ties they say I need from whell aligment and balancing as well a tire rotation and I told them why if the vehicle was buyed brand new with o miles and this incident ocurre with less 10.000 miles of use

Takata recall: this involves a 2017 nissan rogue leased a bill siedle nissan of miami. On november 15, 2017 while making a left turn the vehicle indicator light on the instrument panel ("feb") turned on and the vehicle would not move. When this happened I noticed a cracking noise coming from the steering column.

I was t-boned in my driver side from a driver ran a red light and my air bags did not deploy, with that my head hit the driver side window

The passenger side air bag shows as off when someone is sitting in the seat. This was a recall issue on other model Rogues and this is a serious safety hazard. Nissan should be making this a recall for other model years!

Passenger air bag lite does not detect person in seat. Have seen this recall but told by VIN number doesn't qualify even though it is same problem. $3100 to fix

August 2022 Passenger Vehicle Seat Belt system light came on, concern was if the seat belt would work when occupied. Vehicle was taken to Baytown Nissan for Passenger seat belt light malfunction, was advised to replace the Occupant Control Unit and Occupant Pressure Sensor with Callibration 3.0. The light eventually corrected itself.

My air bag light was on, so I took it in and they said that it was an umbrella that was the problem which I have never heard of. So now I can't put anything in the back seat. After that the light kept going on and off now it's on all the time.

The passenger side airbag occupancy sensor is not working and therefore the airbag will not work. This is the same issue with other Nissan Rogue’s and a recall in this same year and yet our VIN is not included. It is very likely that cars have been missed on this recall as there is no other reason for this part to not be working.

Unknown passenger airbag light does not turn on even with a passenger in the seat.

Cars only 4 years old and airbag light is on. Is there warranty for the airbags.

Brakes did not engage when braking. Was in bumper to bumper traffic let car in front of me to go a 1.5 car lengths before I took foot of the brake never hit the gas coasted until I was 1/2 a car length from the car in front of me and went to hit the brakes again and it did not engage causing me to hit the back of the vehicle in front of me.

My daughter was at a traffic light behind a jeep. The cars began to drive forward after the light turned green. As they were speeding up, the vehicle in front of her slammed on his brakes and the rogue did not stop and ran into the jeep.I leased this car for safety features that did not do what they are advertised to to do.

My passenger air bag light keeps coming on saying it's off and it's been happening for awhile now.
