2015 Hyundai Sonata Steering Problems

While driving a EPS light came in and the steering was extremely hard to drive. I was on the highway so I had to pull over to turn off the car and then turn it on. After turning it on it worked ok for a little and then messed up again and I couldn’t turning the steering wheel again.

The electric power steering suddenly failed while making a turn on a neighborhood road shortly after beginning a drive. The incident also triggered warning lights for the Forward Collision Warning System, Lane Departure Warning System, and Smart High Beam System. I was able to return the car to a safe location and turn it off.

Driving at 55 and the engine blew. No warning, no check engine light, no sign of anything wrong. Power steering loss, limo mode activation.

WHILE DRIVING THE CAR, THE POWER STEERING LOCKED WHILE I WAS ON 55M/H. THE DASHBOARD HAD THE STEERING SIGN ON. THE CAR WAS EVENTUALLY TOWED HOME BECAUSE IT WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE. THE CAR WAS TOWED TO AN AUTO WORKSHOP WHO DATAMINED IT IS A MANUFACTURE SAFETY ISSUE WITH SENSOR. AS AT THIS MOMENT, THE CAR IS UNSAFE AND VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE. I AM REALLY CONCERNED ON WHY THE PUBLIC HAVE NOT BEEN NOTIFIED

I bought my car at a dealership, in west, tn called bolivar ford. They sold me the car I got now and they didn't even show me the car until it came back from getting an 'oil change'. While driving, I was in the middle of a left turn and had a reduction of the power steering assist system. I had to hit the brakes before entering the opposing traffic. I had to muscle the steering wheel to get out of the middle of the road.

Immediately after I engaged the accelerator the vehicle lost all power and steering, with a alarm stating 'hybrid system warning-do not drive'. One vehicle narrowly missed hitting my car, (as it completely lost all power and steering and left me stuck in the middle of on coming traffic).

Steering gets hard and you are not able to turn the steering wheel. While you are driving.

This car has several re calls and I wasn't never informed and this doesn't make any sense

I was backing out of the parking space and the car lost the ability to steer. I had to call a tow truck. I was able to pull forward into the parking space and wait for the tow truck.

In the snow, my hyundai sonata will drive fine until turning. During turning, even with minimal snow, my brakes lock up and my car slides slowly but at that point I am unable to do anything, usually making me hit a curb. This has happened twice in the last two weeks costing me $2200.

Power steering motor failed. Luckily, it failed sometime between when I last drove it and when I attempted to drive it the next day. The steering was extremely difficult to manage, due to the failed motor.
