2015 Honda Accord — Known Issues & Recalls

In 2017, my vehicle was part of a Honda recall for the battery sensor. I had the recall service completed at Colerain Honda in Cincinnati, OH. Honda marked recall repair as completed in 2017, but the same defect has been ongoing since 2021 through today.

I am filing a complaint regarding an unresolved and hazardous safety issue tied to a federally mandated recall on my 2015 Honda Accord (Recall #KH0 – Battery Management Sensor). The recall was eventually performed, but only after inappropriate pushback from the dealer due to my vehicle having a salvage title — which is irrelevant under federal recall law.

Having a huge amount of probable parasitic drain. Can’t figure out where it’s coming from but killing a brand new battery in weeks

Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2015 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while attempting to register the vehicle, it was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy.

Another vehicle pulled in front of my vehicle, I was unable to avoid the accident and struck the left side rear of his vehicle with my left front. The drivers side air bag did NOT deploy but the passengers side did deploy. I was wearing my seat belt as was my passenger in the right front seat, I also had a passenger in the right rear seat area and none of us were injured.

The contact owns a 2015 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the clock spring had failed and needed to be replaced.

Driving and without warning steering light came on, display flickered, engine surged, and complete loss of steering in a matter seconds. I was barely able to turn car onto a driveway where the engine shutdown. I restarted engine and noticed considerable knocking, put car in gear and engine shut-off.

Multiple issues having to do with battery replacement, Alternator, and starter. Discussed this same issue with Honda they have ignored the issue had the vehicle inspected by dealership multiple times and by local mechanics.

The contact owns a 2015 Honda Accord. The contact’s son stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled and failed to exceed 50 MPH. The check engine warning light was illuminated.

System charging error prompts on the dash board continuously. Check my battery and it’s not my battery. Steering wheel light turned on and car began to lock and the whole dashboard started to flicker while I was driving .

Lost power without any warning while taking an exit on the highway. Fortunately, I was able to pull over without an incident. Mechanic scanned : P0087.

There is a clicking noise from both sides of the wheels and it causing to vibrate at higher speeds. cClicking sound is more prominent when turning from left to right. I am concerned that the axles may fail as I see online that a recall has been issued for the lubricant used in manufactoring the part

POWER STEERING RACK 2. ABS MODULATOR My 2015 Honda Accord experienced a sudden failure of both the ABS system and power steering rack. The dealership confirmed the failure was not due to neglect or wear.

While driving, Steering looses power, so steering is very difficult. Car needs to be restarted to gain control of steering. Took it to a mechanic and he explained that Honda accords have this problem.

Steering system is stiff and all the warning lights are on in the dashboard. Vehicle pulls hard to the left and you have to hold the wheel steady to keep it from pulling to the left. Appears there is a steering rack issue.

I bought a car from a private seller on Craigslist. I've only driven the car for 2k miles before the check engine light came. Before that I had to spend like 1k on the breaks oilchange etc to get the car upto date.

I am reporting suspected odometer fraud and possible VIN [XXX] entation involving a vehicle being offered for sale. The seller stated the vehicle has approximately 123,000 miles. However, a vehicle history report and third-party valuation (Carvana) show the same vehicle VIN [XXX] ) wi [XXX] les recorded.

ABS MODULATOR INTERNAL FAILURE 85-01/61-11 The car cut off in the middle of me driving on the highway with my children also in the car with me it has been inspected by [XXX] who also states this is a major issue and should have been placed under recall years ago and that this is one of the major safety hazards they have seen when it cut off 4 lights appeared instantly INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C.

On June 17, 2025, I went with my mechanic to inspect a car I was considering purchasing. The vehicle is a 2015 Honda Accord Sport, showing approximately 60,000 miles on the odometer. My mechanic performed a diagnostic scan, and everything appeared to be in good working order at the time.
