2015 Honda Accord Other Problems

Sunroof exploded and shattered spontaneously without any signs of being hit by a flying debris or foreign objects, while driving approximately at 70 MPH along I-15 North, between the Nisqualli and Palmdale Road exits, in Victorville, CA 92392. No vehicle was ahead of me and two cars approximately 300 feet behind were following me. This happened on a Sunday between 1-2 pm.

My daughter was driving my car on Route 80 on Thursday, May 13th around 9:10 am when she heard a noise and thought it might be her tire. She pulled off the exit Ramp for Parsippany and pulled over. When she stepped out of the car she felt heat.

Rear camera stop working for no reason and forwards collision doesn't work well when it's hot.

I was pulling slowly into a parking spot in a parking lot when suddenly car accelerated out of control and brakes did not function..car was going extremely fast..I hit a post and a building..airbag deployed..car was totaled.. Airbag saved me. Car only had little over 30,500 miles..in excellent condition.

While driving our 2015 honda accord north on I-15 near salt lake city, ut, we heard a very loud, explosion like noise on the top of our car. We exited the interstate and found that the sunroof was shattered. It had exploded!

My sunroof exploded twice while I was driving on the highway, january 31, 2018 and again on february 26, 2018. After escalating my concerns to honda corporate in california, lucas honda made the repairs, although the second repair was improperly done.

The plastic case of the battery sensor may have gaps that allow moisture to enter the sensor. If moisture containing conductive substances (such as road salt) enters the battery sensor, it could cause an electrical short and subsequently, a fire.

Within 5 seconds after we got into the car and closed the doors on the 2 door coupe the back glass exploded. Lucky I was not driving on the highway. It sounded like a bomb and glass flew all over the car.

Sunroof exploded on 2015 honda accord at 9:30 am on 9/19/16 while traveling on highway one mile before exiting. Sounded as if a semi tire exploded near by. It was not an impact break.

On friday may 6, 2016 while driving on interstate 4, driver side window exploded inward hitting me with glass and distributing glass throughout entire inside of car, front and back. Very loud explosion and all glass came inside car. There were no other cars beside me or in front of me at the time.

4 months into my ownership of the vehicle, the backup camera stayed on, while the gear was in d (drive). Fortunately it was a short drive but it did concern me a little bit. The same issue happened again 2 months later.

I was driving on a highway and all of a sudden my sunroof exploded. I heard a loud noise. However, I didnt see any rocks or any object flying towards my car.

I have had three incidents in the 4500 miles that I have driven the car where the sun reflects off of the shiny portion of the chrome center console and blinds me. This is unsafe and can cause an accident. Other company's use non-reflective to avoid this.

While I was driving my 2015 Honda accord my car suddenly slowed down. Then it stopped driving so I pulled to the side of the road. When I stopped and put it in park to turn off/on it didn’t move an inch.

Intermittent start of vehicle. Will drive fine even for a couple of hours. I stop for 10 minutes to go to store.

It is regarding the Starter Grinds or Spins at Startup (Service bulletin 16-002). My car was giving finding noise while starting. When I checked with my dealer they replaced the new starter (I paid from my pocket).

I am having issues starting my vehicle. I have a manufacture alarm system installed in a vehicle. I've never had issues but recently, when I sometimes (not consistently) hear my alarm honks twice before my the car engine starts.

This car has a push button start. You engage the brake and press the button to start. It will not start.

I was going home on 6/9/17 on a very busy highway 52-n at approx 60 MPH. The car quit running, the rear wheels lock ,and I am sliding sideways. The car just died.

I have a 2015 honda accord lx. I started experiencing problems with the stereo approx november 2016. When I would toggle between the radio pre-sets I would loose everything, now sound no stations.

VSA MODULE FAILURE 94613 MILES . I understand this has become a common failure with this honda. Reporting a failure with this car.

There are multiple complaints about starting issues and ABS module issues for 2013-2016 Accords online. I myself am also experiencing Starting issues and ABS issues I have bought a starter 4 times from Honda and they have all had the same issue of intermittently working. My ABS Module has just went out and Honda wants 1,300 for a problem that has been known about since the 2013 release.

Starter is faulty. Car starter does not engage engine. Needed to get it replaced

Honda Accord LX 2015 engine sputtered and failed 3 times while in idle with A/C on then won’t start after that. Battery, alternator confirmed good. Use medium grade gas BP, lights on, drives well after it starts.

With no warning, the battery failed. The car started up again with a jump from AAA. I drove it for 45 minutes.

The following lights are all on: FCW, LDW, Air Bag, Check Engine, Power Steering, ABS, and Tire Pressure monitoring system These lights are on and off for at least 5 times in the last 50 days.

My sirius/xm radio reception is intermittent. I've had it to the dealer twice and they were unable to diagnose the problem. Internet searches suggest this is not an uncommon problem with honda vehicles.

Problems starting. Thought it was time for a new battery so I bought a top of the line one so that I do not have to replace every 3 years. Still does the same thing.

The car been having hard time starting. Most of the time it starts right away and sometime it will just click and wont start. But will start after a few tries.

Backup camera on the vehicle stopped working when put in reverse. Had to pay to have it fixed on 3/3/2020 equal to what a car payment would of been a month after finishing paying off veh.

My 2015honda accord purchased new off the lot and well maintained has issues with start up system. Dealer reports it is a starter failure. When foot is firmly placed on the brake and start push button is pushed the car will make one click sound and not start, it can take up to 10 attempts to start car.

Almost daily the car will not start on the first try. It can take up to 10 attempts to get it started. All of the lights on dash turn on and I hear a click but it doesn't start.

Intermittent problem starting the car. At times the car would start normally after the first turn of the key. At other times it may take more than one turn of the key or as many as 7 to 10 turns of the key for the car to start.

I am having intermittent issues with my car starting. It does one click and won't start. There is no turning over.

I had a recalled dated august 2017 to get the vehicle to a nearby dealer problem indicated on the letter: a battery sensor case mounted on top the 12v battery which may have gaps that could allow for moisture to enter the sensor. I took it to a dealer of honda of new rochelle in ny. I was told the part is not available and that american honda will reissue a letter.

I recently bought this car in april 2017 and noticed whenever it rains, the interior stinks like mold. I checked for leaks and the rubber trim around the doors and found nothing wrong with them. Since this is a problem that is detected by smell, there is no way for me to prove this to a dealer.

I recently bought this car in april and noticed that this car shakes when breaking from a higher speed - normally on the highway. I took it back to the dealership and they said that there was a tbs for it and nothing that they could do about it.

Foul/musty pungent smell coming from the vents with air on or off. Brought to a honda dealer...performed AC/heating evaporator cleaning/changed also the element filter. The smell has come back.

It sounds as if the front windows are open even when the car is not moving. But at especially over 45 MPH, the sound of air wooshing into the cabin is very pronounced. It is at ear level on both the driver and passenger side.

When the temperature drops rapidly below freezing, the window motors freeze the windows become inoperable. This occurred with my left front, right front, and left rear windows. These various windows have frozen 4 additional times since the original incident.

I am reporting suspected odometer fraud and possible VIN [XXX] entation involving a vehicle being offered for sale. The seller stated the vehicle has approximately 123,000 miles. However, a vehicle history report and third-party valuation (Carvana) show the same vehicle VIN [XXX] ) wi [XXX] les recorded.

On June 17, 2025, I went with my mechanic to inspect a car I was considering purchasing. The vehicle is a 2015 Honda Accord Sport, showing approximately 60,000 miles on the odometer. My mechanic performed a diagnostic scan, and everything appeared to be in good working order at the time.

In November 2023 I began to experience difficulty starting the vehicle. The issue is the ignition switch has worn out. This issue is very random, I may start my car on average 10 times per day.

There are times when my car won't start on the first try. It some times takes 3 or 4 tries. We have checked the baterry and its working just fine.

Horn button ( left side) on the steering will not work. Depressing the horn button on the left side of the steering wheel will not activate the horn. Right side is ok.

I am having the problem when I go to start my car it clicks but won't turn over until after several attempts. New battery not the problem all lights are working .it began after I went and had a battery sensor recall done. After several reach outs I see this is a major complaint on this year of vehicle.

I have a 2015 honda accord with about 34,000 miles on it. A few weeks ago I noticed I started having trouble turning on my car. Well this morning it just wouldnt start.

Takata recall everytime my car runs thru a ditch the low tire light comes on . I put air rest the calibration and in a few days I would hit another ditch and the same steps over and over again.

Air condition when set on high temperature (78+), after 10 minutes,it starts generating cool air. In winter it's not working as per expectation. Always experienced when vehicle is in motion.
