2017 Ford Fusion Seat Belts Problems

The contact owns a 2017 Ford Fusion Energi. The contact stated while parked and attempting to fasten the rear passenger's side and driver's side seat belts, the seat belts failed to retract. The vehicle was taken to a dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired.

Front driver and passenger seat belts do not lock or retract. Mine and my children life are at risk because it’s a safety issue, and requirement to have a seatbelt worn while driving but as well having a proper working seatbelt. Yes, the car is currently at the dealer now which confirmed it does not work properly.

While crossing an intersection I was hit on my driver's rear door and my seatbelt unlatched and I was thrown out the driver's side door.*dt*jb

The seatbelt has came apart inside. You can look inside the one that's broken and the good one and see there is a piece missing or broken.

The rear seatbelts ratchet down continuously causing the rear passengers to have to take them off and rebuckle them.
