Your driver's side roof rack cover panel ejected while driving at 30 MPH and hit another vehicle, causing that driver to swerve and collide with a third car. You've also experienced detachment of the driver's door A-Pillar trim and loosening of both B-Pillar trim pieces on both sides. The roof rack cover and trim pieces may need to be reattached or replaced, and the attachment points should be inspected for secure fastening.

Your vehicle is subject to Ford safety recall 24S02, which involves the A pillar and B pillar trim pieces. Since March 2024, your dealership has been unable to obtain replacement parts and has told you they cannot help. In summer 2024, the A pillar trim dislodged while you were driving on the highway, creating a safety hazard, though it didn't hit another vehicle. The recall remains unresolved after nearly 2 years, and you're concerned about driving with known defective parts still attached.
