Your car's radio repeatedly restarts and the display screen is extremely bright, creating a distracting glare while driving at night. The radio also won't recognize USB devices. Toyota dealers want to charge $1,000 to replace the radio entirely, but this may not solve the problem since it appears to be a widespread issue affecting multiple Toyota models.

Vehicle stopped accelerating while on highway leading to dangerous slow down with 2 little kids in the car. Car would no longer accelerate despite engine running. Check engine light turned on. Toyota dealer ran diagnostics and found vvti actuator had internally failed. This was a very expensive replacement. I worry that a previous recall for ECM module update came too late before damage had already occured to the vvti actuator prematurely. Car is well taken care of and only 100k miles.
On 11/30/2022 The CHECK light came on. After checking my Toyota manual it showed several reasons for the light. I called the Toyota Dealer (Bryan Easler, Hendersonville, NC) made an appointment for general service and inspection as to why the warning light came on. Was told the warning light was result of rodents chewing through the gas line causing fuel leak. This also happened about three years ago. Because the fuel system is all one piece it couldn't be repaired. I had to pay for a whole new fuel line system, second time I have had to pay for a whole new fuel system. There is no Toyota dealer my my area so I have to travel about forty miles for service. I am a very elderly half cripple woman long distance driving is tiring and dangerous for me, driving with a leaking gas line is dangerous for anyone. This is the second time I've dealt with this problem. There is something seriously wrong with a fuel line being exposed so animals can chew through it. It means I may have to replace it every time a rodent decides to dine on the fuel line. Where can I park and feel safe my gas line won't be destroyed? Not to mention all the other dangers a leaking fuel line can cause. It makes no sense why Toyota would manufacture such a disaster on any car.
Malfunction in transmission assembly. Car has less than 50,000 miles.

I'm writing you about my 2014 Toyota Corolla which I bought from Glendale KIA dealership (400 S. Brand st, Glendale, CA ) in Feb ,2022 with a Gold Warranty. It is about selling old (may be used) 2020 four tires to me instead of 2022 tires. I paid for NEW tires and I have the invoice(and credit card transaction ,..) They told me first I only told them NEW tires and I didn't mention 2022 and those tires which are from 2020 are good. Their supervisor on Monday offered me a FULL TANK OF GAS for free instead of new tires and when I said no and I want four new tires 2022. He told me to go there again (Wednesday 03/23/2022) to get new tires but they tried to give me 2020 tires again. I asked them I want to talk with store manger , they said manager is off and when I asked that specific Employees name , he didn't respond and tried to go to other room and I started recording his video and he tried to grab my phone by force . I came out and called 911.The police officers came and went inside of the dealership and stayed with me to take my car outside (with out getting new tires and I'm still have the 2020 tires that they gave me on Monday). I emailed the manager and other guys several times before that day but they didn't respond . They never called back my VM. The scheduling links of their website is broken and from March 15 I tried to email and call them but they never respond. One mor thing , after police officers came one of their associates text me by his personal phone number ,. Most of the employees are Arabs, I think they are kind of family and friends Their employees have access to my information(Social Security, My family home address, cellphone,..) I know in 2019 in California , we had some legal efforts to make car dealers notice the customers about the manufacturing date. My tires manufacturing date is 3820(week 38, year 2020) I also tried to contact with AAA insurance( my car and my life insurance i) and if have an accident because of those old tires.

22,000 MILES AND AC IS NOT WORKING
I WAS SENT A RECALL REGARDING DEFECTIVE PAINT CHIPPING AND FADING ,MORE THAN A YEAR AGO, WHICH STATES A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THE GRADE OF WHITE PAINT THE MANUFACTURER USED ON TOYOTA VEHICLES ( INCLUDING 2014 TOYOTA COROLLA),AND OFFERS TO REPAINT AT NO COST .I CALLED AFTER REGISTERING TO HAVE ISSUE CORRECTED ONLY TO BE GIVEN GENERIC ANSWER AND , NEVER GETTING ANY FOLLOW UP CALL OR UPDATE. MY CAR SHOULD BE PAINTED AS PROMISED
WHILE VEHICLE IS ON THE THRUWAY TRAVELING AROUND 75 MPH MY VEHICLE STOPS ACCELERATING EVEN WHEN THE GAS PEDDLE IS PRESSED WHILE VEHILE IS IN MOTIOJ. ONCE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD VEHICLE HAS TO BE TOWED. THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES. EACH TIME IT IS TAKEN TO THE SHOP THE CODES ARE CHECKED AND VEHICLE LOOKED OVER AND NOTHING SEEMS TO BE WRONG WITH THE CODES THAT COME UP. I CALLED CORPORATE AND THEY TOLD ME MY VIN WAS IN THE RECALL. CALLED BACK A FEW DAYS LATER AND THEY SAID IT WASN'T. SO THEY GAVE ME FALSE INFORMATION. I HAVE HEARD THIS HAPPENED TO MANY OTHER CARS LATELY AND BELIEVE IT SHOULD BE A RECALLED ISSUE, NO MATTER WHAT YEAR AND MODEL THE TOYOTA IS! ITS DANGEROUS!
THE PROBLEM STARTED WITH 3 OF THE DOOR LOCK ACTUATORS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY ON MY 2014 COROLLA. THE KEY FOB WOULD NOT ACTIVATE THEM. I BROUGHT IT IN FOR SERVICE ON 2/8/2020 AND THE DEALER CONFIRMED THEY WERE FAULTY AND WOULD ORDER THE PARTS. WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS, THE 4TH ACTUATOR AND THE TRUNK LOCK ACTUATOR ALSO FAILED. I BOUGHT IT IN ON 2/15/2020 TO HAVE THE FIRST 3 FIXED AND ALSO TO CONFIRM THE PROBLEM WITH THE OTHER 2 ISSUES SO THOSE PARTS COULD BE ORDERED. I WAS TOLD THE COST TO FIX THE FIRST 3 WOULD BE ABOUT $1500! THE EXTENDED WARRANTY I PURCHASED HAD EXPIRED AND SO I COULD NOT AFFORD THIS. I WAS TOLD BY THE SERVICE CONSULTANT THAT HE'S SEEN THIS PROBLEM WITH COROLLAS. I LOOKED ON LINE AND HAVE FOUND NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS FOR THIS SAME VEHICLE ABOUT THIS SAME SITUATION. WITH THIS NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS, I WOULD THINK THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN A RECALL BY TOYOTA AS THIS CAN BE CONSIDERED A SAFETY ISSUE, CONSIDERING IT TAKES LONGER FOR PEOPLE TO GET IN THEIR WHICH CAN SUBJECT THEM TO POSSIBLE CRIMINAL ACTIVITY. THEY ALSO SHOULD DO THE RIGHT THING AND FIX THEM AT NO CHARGE BECAUSE THEY KNOW IT'S A PROBLEM. I'VE ATTACHED THE SERVICE FOR 2/15/2020 JUST TO SHOW THAT I DID BRING IT IN.
WHILE DRIVING ON AN INTERSTATE (~80MPH) I HEARD A LOUD NOISE ABOVE ME. I NOTICED GLASS WAS ON MY LAP AND ON THE PASSENGER SEAT. I LOOKED UP TO SEE MY SUNROOF HAD SHATTERED (THE SUNROOF COVER WAS OPEN). I PULLED OVER EXPECTING TO FIND SOMETHING IN MY CAR (I.E. DEBRIS FROM THE ROAD) THAT CAUSED THE SUNROOF DAMAGE. NO FOREIGN OBJECT WAS FOUND. NO OTHER DAMAGE (SCRATCH, DENT, ETC.) WAS EVIDENT ON ANY PART OF THE CAR. I DRIVE A 2014 TOYOTA COROLLA S.
I WAS PUTTING GAS AND WHEN I'M GOING TO TURN ON MY CAR DOESN'T TURN ON JUST AFTER 15 MIN LATER ,THIS HAPPENED TWO TIMES BEFORE I TAKE IT TO TOYOTA DEALER FOR A DEEP DIAGNOSTIC.THE RESULT WAS THE CHARCOAL CANISTER NEED TO BE REPLACE BUT I SAW ONLINE2.98 MILLIONS TOYOTA FROM YEAR 2009-2015 HAS BEEN RECALL FRO SAME ISSUE.I WILL LIKE TOYOTA TO COVER FOR THIS ISSUE.
TAKATA RECALL I BUYING MY VEHICLE TOYOTA COROLLA 2014 IN EGYPT IN MARCH 2014. I USE IT UNTIL NOW AND MAKING ALL THE SERVICE REQUIRED THROUGH THE AGENT SERVES CENTER EVERY 10000 KM UNTIL NOW. NOW THE VEHICLE MAKE AROUND 138000 KM. SUDDENLY I HEARD A NOISE FROM THE TRANSMISSION (CVT) SO I SEND IT TO THE SERVES CENTER THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY NEED TO CHANGE THE TRANSMISSION AND THE TORQUE CONVERTER AND I SHOULD PAY ALL THE FEES WHICH WILL BE AROUND 130000 EGP (7300 USD) AS MY VEHICLE IS OUT OF WARRANTY PERIOD. THE QUESTION IS WHY I SHOULD PAY ALL THIS AMOUNT, I DO ALL THE SERVES ON TIME WITHOUT DELAYING IN THE AGENT SERVES CENTER. IS IT NORMAL TO CHANGE THE TRANSMISSION EVERY 137000 KM, THIS IS NEVER HAPPENED WITH ME BEFORE IN TOYOTA VEHICLES. SO I NEED TO KNOW WHAT SHOULD I DO. THANK YOU.
THE TOUCH RADIO NOT WORKING AND CANNOT CONNECT MY CELPHONE WITH THE HANDSFREE
AC BLOWS HOT AIR WHILE IDLING AND TAKES 20 SECONDS TO START BLOWING AFTER IT IS TURNED ON. WHEN IT DOES COME ON IT BARELY BLOWS AIR ON ALL AIR SPEEDS. AT 29,000 MILES AND IN 120 DEGREE WEATHER THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. TOYOTA FORUMS AND CONSUMER REPORTS SHOWS AC PROBLEMS THAT TOYOTA KNOWS ABOUT, AND DOES NOT DO ANYTHING TO FIX THESE CARS THAT WERE SOLD WITH FAULTY PARTS. WHY DOES TOYOTA NOT HELP THOSE THAT ARE JUST PAST THE 36 MONTH WARRANTY BUT UNDER 36,000 MILES IN 3 YR OLD CAR? IT IS NOT LIKE I AM TRYING TO GET REPAIR FOR A 2004 COROLLA. PLEASE HELP.
NONE OF THE WINDOWS CLEAR OF THE RAINWATER WHEN WINDOWS ARE ROLLED UP OR DOWN. SERIOUS PROBLEM WHEN IT IS RAINING BECAUSE YOU CANNOT SEE OUT OF THE WINDOWS WITHOUT ROLLING THE WINDOWS DOWN. AFFECTS VISIBILITY.
AIR CONDITIONING PROBLEM: THE VEHICLE HAS INTERMITTENT AIR CONDITIONING. SOMETIMES IT BLOWS COLD, OTHER TIMES IT BLOWS HOT (RANDOMLY). I HAVE HAD IT AT THE DEALER. THEY HAVE CONFIRMED THE PROBLEM EXISTS, BUT ARE AT A LOSS AS HOW TO FIX IT. THEY TOLD ME THEY HAVE SEEN THIS PROBLEM BEFORE.

THE HEADLIGHTS OF THE NEW TOYOTA COROLLA 2014+ ARE OVERLY BRIGHT WHEN DRIVING IN FRONT OF ONE OR WHEN ONE IS PASSING IN THE OTHER DIRECTION. IT IS BLINDING. I HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN MULTIPLE TIMES AND IT IS ALWAYS A COROLLA WITH LOW BEAMS THAT HAVE BRIGHT WHITE BLINDING BEAMS. PLEASE RECALL THIS VEHICLE AND FORCE THE MANUFACTURER TO USE NORMAL BULBS OR NORMAL BRIGHTNESS.
