Your new Treadwright rear tires are failing prematurely with tread separation and broken belt defects. The first tire's tread separated from the casing within 100 miles, and the replacement tire developed a visible bubble in the sidewall at just 20 PSI (well below the 80 PSI operating pressure), indicating a broken belt. The manufacturer claimed the bubble was normal "overlap" and tried to convince you the tire was safe to use, despite clear evidence of a structural failure. Resolving this will likely require contacting the tire manufacturer for a full warranty replacement and potentially filing a complaint with the tire safety regulator.

Your truck's front tires experienced tread separation—where the tire tread starts peeling away from the tire body—causing bouncing while driving at highway speeds. This happened on both the passenger and driver side front tires within two weeks of each other, even though you weren't warned by any dashboard lights. The tire shop replaced both tires, but the underlying cause wasn't diagnosed. Addressing this may require inspecting your wheel alignment, suspension components, or tire pressure monitoring to prevent future tire failures.

WHILE DRIVING MY TRUCK ON THE INTERSTATE AND PULLING A TRAVEL TRAILER, THE DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT TIRE HAD A BLOWOUT WITHOUT WARNING. MY TRUCK AND TRAILER MOMENTARILY SWERVED BUT I WAS ABLE TO REGAIN CONTROL AND PULL OVER TO THE RIGHT SHOULDER. I HEARD THE REMAINING TIRE TREAD STRIKE THE WHEEL WELL REPEATEDLY BEFORE I COULD STOP THE TRUCK. THE BLOWOUT CAUSED EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO THE FENDER, WHEEL WELL LINER, BATTERY, HEADLIGHT BRACKET, BUMPER AND WIRING HARNESS. ASIDE FROM THE BODY DAMAGE, NUMEROUS WIRES WERE TORN AND RENDERED THE TRUCK INOPERABLE. DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE, MY INSURANCE CARRIER DEEMED THE VEHICLE A TOTAL LOSS. I'M SHOCKED AND DISMAYED THAT THE TIRE FAILED. THE TIRES HAD A 60,000-MILE WARRANTY ON THEM, BUT HAD BEEN IN SERVICE FOR LESS THAN 22,000 MILES. I CHECKED THE TIRE PRESSURE BEFORE STARTING THE TRIP. MY TPMS DID NOT INDICATE A LOSS OF PRESSURE DURING MY TRAVELS. THE ROAD WAS FLAT AND IN GOOD CONDITION. I DID NOT STRIKE ANY OBJECTS ON THE ROAD. BECAUSE I WAS PULLING A TRAILER, MY SPEED WAS APPROXIMATELY 50-55 MPH. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION AFTER THE BLOWOUT, I NOTICED A LARGE HOLE IN THE TIRE CASING. I PRESUME THAT THE TIRE DETERIORATED FROM THE INSIDE OUT, AND ULTIMATELY RESULTED IN FAILURE. I'M LUCKY THAT TRAFFIC WAS LIGHT AND THAT I WAS NOT NEAR THE EDGE OF A CLIFF OR MOUNTAIN ROAD. ALTHOUGH I LOST MY TRUCK, THIS BLOWOUT COULD HAVE HAD MUCH MORE SERIOUS AND DIRE CONSEQUENCES FOR MYSELF AND OTHERS.

THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER AND THE CONTACT NOTICED SEVERE BELT SEPARATION ON THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE TIRES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A TIRE DEALER WHERE THE TIRES WERE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE TIRE AND VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BELTS SEPARATED FROM UNDERNEATH THE THREAD ON THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE AND REAR PASSENGER TIRES, MAKING THE TIRES UNSAFE. THE TIRES WERE TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THE TIRES WERE NOT COVERED FOR ROAD HAZARD. THE CONTACT REPLACED THE DRIVER SIDE TIRE. THE REAR PASSENGER TIRE WAS NOT REPLACED DUE TO THE FAILURE OCCURRING AFTER THE THE DRIVER SIDE TIRE WAS REPLACED. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE AND TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000. THE DOT NUMBER WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

WHILE DRIVING MY 2012 DODGE RAM 2500 ON A FOUR LANE HIGHWAY THE FRONT RIGHT FIRESTONE TRANSFORCE TIRE BLEW OUT. THE BLOW OUT WAS IMMEDIATE AND UNEXPECTED. THE TRUCK CAREENED FROM MEDIAN TO MEDIAN BARELY MISSING ANOTHER VEHICLE UNTIL I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO BRING IT UNDER CONTROL. I AM A VERY EXPERIENCED DRIVER, KNEW NOT TO HIT THE BRAKES AND BELIEVE THAT A LESS EXPERIENCED PERSON MAY HAVE HAD A WORSE OUTCOME. I DO HAVE PICTURES. *TR
