2019 Jeep Wrangler Electrical Problems

Your engine warning lights are staying on, and your windshield camera calibration has failed multiple times. More concerning, your engine completely shuts down when you come to a complete stop and won't restart on its own. The manufacturer couldn't provide a solution and instead installed a used engine that has the same problem. This is a serious drivability issue that needs proper diagnosis of the engine stalling condition and forward collision camera system.

The instrument cluster has stop functioning and you can't see milage, gas or any of the warning lights within the cluster panel. I was not in an accident but wanted to report the problem of the cluster since my jeep was not included in the recall. I have an estimate of 1,600.

The instrument panel cluster that shows the speed, odometer, and fuel levels has been sporadically 'going out' while driving. On Friday 7/18, it went out completely and did not come back on. This affects safety of driving in that I have no idea how fast I'm driving or fuel levels.

Took jeep to dealership it had 36,000 miles They worked on it for 40,000miles service And to ck wobble on jeep Mechanic took jeep for test drive it exploded luckily he new how to escape I don’t know what the cause of it was insurance are taking care of it

Without warning the IP panel lights up with all warnings and power steering is lost while driving. Dealership can not diagnose the issue. I have replaced both the main and the aux batteries and still have this same issue.

Driving my vehicle and around 20,000 miles had all lights come on. Lost power steering wind shield wipers randomly going off and then it goes away once powering off. I took it to my dealer and they worked on it and said nothing was wrong.

I was driving my 2019 Jeep Wrangler to work and my Jeep started throwing all the things on the dash, Start/Stop lost communication, ABS System lost communication, plus several other issues and I went into limp mode. I had it towed to the dealership to find out what was wrong and they told me it was the ABS Module. That was on Wednesday June 11th, 2025.

My steering wheel will lock up while driving, my windshield wipers start going off, spedometer goes to zero and won't work, the gas light goes to completely empty and won't move, when I push on the gas it won't go, my engine light goes off and starts saying service module and lists several different things. When I put it in park it won't shift into gear so I can drive it.

So driving about 50-55mph, the dash lights lite up like a christmas tree. Everything from ABS, shifter lock, sway bar, airbags, traction control, aux battery and some other things that I can't remember. Engine lost power, power steering and unable to shift out of park.

Loss of power on the highway, check engine light, battery light, PCM light, Service start/stop system light, stalling and shutting off when put into reverse. Code for MGU. It’s an etourqe Jeep Wrangler, no alternator and no aux battery.

After coming to a complete stop every time, the Auto Start/Stop kicks in and when it is time to accelerate the Jeep stalls, takes itself out of drive, lights start flashing, radio goes off, and windshield wipers start going.

Both the auxiliary and main batteries go out at least once a year leaving you stranded in need of flatbed towing. Dealer has know suggestions on the faulty batteries or recommendations for a better solution.

I was on my way to work and when I stopped at a red light my car completely shut off. I tried to jump start it and then it flashed that my "start/stop button wasn't working" and that I needed to park because my car would shut off shortly.

Note: The following is the second incident in less than a year whereby my vehicle has lost all power, and subsequently needed to be towed to the dealership. Apparently, the batteries (primary and aux/secondary) are/were being drained for some reason. The first time this occurred, there was some sort of wiring defect, possibly shorting out a circuit.

Clutch failed at 4000 miles and 3 months of ownership on a brand new 2019 Wrangler Unlimited. Blame placed on me, 2 dealerships before they would do it with out charge. 3 months later 1st recall comes out.

Instrument cluster panel - while driving, my cluster panel occasionally glitches before returning to normal. Ultimately, when I was on the highway, it all went black. Nothing is visible anymore.

Instrument Panel Cluster Failure: My instrument cluster failure has been an unrepairable issue for my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara which I purchased from Marysville Jeep in Marysville, Washington back in 2021 or 2022. It's been well over at least a year that I have been forced to drive this vehicle where I am unable to know my fuel level, mileage, or speed.

On may 10 2025 the instument panel stopped working, none of the gages work. Not able to detect speed, gas, turn signals etc. Took it to an independent service center, was told the instrument cluster lost communication with the cars computer.

This Jeep has the exact issues addressed in recall 24V-652 but this Jeeps V.I.N was not included. We have no dash display. Dealership said we needed to request that it be added before they will repair.

Uconnect System pushed an update to an out of warranty vehicle. The OTA (over-the-air) update bricked (boot loop) the system that also includes the backup camera. The system continually reboots even with the car in the OFF position.

1st occurrence sept 21, 2022 at 53000 miles In shop June 19-20 June 23-currently Cost incurred Rental from Olathe Dodge Chrysler Jeep 1 day 6/19-6/20 $50 Loaner given from 6/23-current @ no cost to me Symptoms: While driving, all dash controls will zero, no speedometer.

It has happened several times since we got the vehicle. There are times we are on the freeway and we press the gas but the car slows down and makes a horrible sound then after a little while we wiggle the shift handle and move it around to make it go. It has been very scary.

Battery has gone completely dead three time in two months. Absolutely nothing left on or plugged in. Cannot start by jumping.

Uconnect 8.4 GPS and elevation inop intermittently. In the middle of anywhere. No pattern.

My gauge cluster is having a problem and I dont know why my jeep is covered under the recall when its the same part in every other jeep that is having the same problem? I would really like to know how used can pick one Jeep model and not the others? When all the same parts are in the jeeps

Cluster went dark. No way of seeing gauges moving, no speed info, nothing. Jeep runs but dash is dark.

Main cluster went out cannot see gas or mileage noting important will display

Wires going to the trailer hitch lights plug was too close to the muffler melting the insulation and shorting to ground for the left trailer turning light.

Recall 30B regarding the instrument panel cluster is affecting my jeep it only has 30k miles and is defective. Diagnosed 5/13/25 by Mitchell Auto Group service department in Avon, CT

There is an active recall that was issued back in October 2024 for jeep wranglers 2018-2024 with the IPC (instrument panel cluster) going completely black. My jeep currently has this issue, I cannot see my fuel level, speed, odometer, oil and engine temps or any other vital information when driving.

My central instrument gage cluster has gone black, not being able to see important safety information and car notices. I can't see car info such as milage , fuel, safety warnings, tire information etc etc.

The information center and warning went dead on the instrument cluster.

And module Burt out causing my shifter to get stuck in park Jeep to shut down and dash to light up like a Christ mad tree..

Service shifter light, everything on the dash bord lights, up, the wheel locks , no emergency lights can be turn on, when the service shifter lights up, or park. This is a manufacturer hazard, any one can be hurt. This happen to me in the rain , multiple times, exiting from fwy .

The radio/infotainment system would reset every time I would have my Bluetooth & USB connected to my phone. This started about 4 months ago. Weeks later, my battery would be dead so I would have to jumpstart it.

During software update vehicle quit starting and has not started since.

Every time I plug my iphone into the lighting cable that is plugged into the USB type c input the uconnect system will power off and reset itself. This will continuously happen every 5 minutes 3-4 times before it stops. This happens when the engine is on and occurs whether the car is moving or not.

When driving above 55mph both times the vehicle starts to vilently shake and slow down and jerk, complete lost of power, can push peddle down and vehicle just boggs down and revs up then down. Eventually dies and then you must shut down vehicle with key. Wait about 1 minute start and it drives fine.

Back up camera black screen when in reverse. Back camera failing
