2018 Jeep Compass Suspension Problems

When starting the vehicle the error message comes on with the man holding the air bag and it comes on bigger in the dashboard too. And feels like the car runs hotter with this message on. If someone is riding in the passenger side and I get into an accident.

On 8/16/2022 I was involved in an accident due to front driver side suspension breaking.

Tie rod snapped causing an accident.

My jeeps auto start stop has had issues since the day I got it. Ive taken it back to jeep servicing multiple times and all they do is resent the card computer. The car still moves while in park, the car shuts off while driving on the highway (55mph) it slows down, shuts off and does start for a few mins.

The car will stall while driving at highway speeds and/or will turn on the emergency brake after stopping due to a stop sign or traffic. Yes this is available for inspection. Not as of yet, Jeep said it was a battery problem.

Tl* the contact owns a 2018 jeep compass. The contact stated that while driving over a speed bump, the passenger's side front control arm detached. The vehicle was towed to arrigo chrysler dodge jeep ram sawgrass (5901 madison ave, tamarac, fl 33321) and the contact was informed that the control arm needed to be replaced.

Car started shifting hard during deceleration giving a jolt forward. Check engine light came on for power train control module. Also started hearing a rattle and had to replace control arms.

Vehicle started rattling going over bumps.

The contact owns a 2018 Jeep Compass. The contact stated while driving at various speeds over a bumpy road surface and over a pothole, the vehicle shuddered and made an abnormal clunking and rattling sound. The contact stated that the failure progressively worsened while driving.

I took my vehicle to a dealership for diagnostic and was told the lower control arm in front is making noise. They want over $700 for labor alone. I looked up the issue online and saw a recall but my VIN isn't on the list so they won't fix it.

Sway bar links are unsafe. Electrical system makfunctions after idling vehicle and at other random times, causing vehicle warning lights to illuminate abd vehicle won't function properly. Vehicle loses oil, 2,000 miles after each oil change a quart or more must be added then the same after each 1,000 miles after.

I was driving on a local street when all of a sudden I started hearing a rattling sound coming from the front of the car. Next day, I took it to a mechanic. They notified me the struts needed to be replaced.

The front stabilizer bar end links had to be replaced after 25000 miles. This vehicle is about 2.5 years old. The work order says replace front sway bar links.

The vehicle will randomly shut down while driving. Interior electrical stops working first. This has happened on a highway and on a town side street.

Struts need to be replaced after 10,000 miles, horrible clunking when it hits any little bump, very unnerving, will not buy another one

The passenger side strut has already broken, the vehicle is under 20,000 miles. Also the vehicle has already had multiple repairs under warranty for faulty backup camera and computer in the car. When operating the vehicle, even on smoothly paved roads, the strut rattled and makes noise.

A year ago the passenger side lower control arm stabilizer link was bad and there was a recall on it so I got it replaced is fine a year later I have to have it replaced again because it's making all kinds of noise

Front ball joints became severely loose and needed to be replaced. Tire became wobbly while driving

Hello,2018 jeep compass 4x4 with 35,000 miles. Backup camera screen half blacked out, can't use features without or see. Many of these jeep screen radios are defective and should be recalled at 900.

Alignment went out on camber, no factory adjustment is available. The choice is wear tires uneven and risk a blow out or put in after market adjustments. Alignment is a normal part of the maintenance of the vehicle, not making the adjustments available is wrong and makes the vehicle unsafe to drive without greater cost to the consumer.

This is a two-year-old car requiring strut replacement. Never driven off-road and never driven on a flat tire.
