The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Cherokee equipped with Continental Tires, Tire Line: Conti Pro Contact TX, Tire Size: 245/40/ZR19, DOT Number: A3E4WBJC0723. The contact stated that while driving 70 MPH, the vehicle experienced a flat tire. Upon inspection, the contact discovered that the front passenger’s side tire had a blowout. The contact stated that with the assistance of a fellow motorist, the contact was able to change the tire with the spare and drove to the residence. The tire was taken back to the dealer where it was recently purchased; the tire remained in the dealer possession for an inspection. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The tire failure mileage was approximately 1,800. The vehicle failure mileage was approximately 73,000.

The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Cherokee equipped with Continental Tires, Tire Size: 225/60R18, Tire line: 100hms Radio tubeless. The contact stated while the vehicle was getting an oil change the mechanic noticed that the two front tires were wound. The dealer and the manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The DOT was not available. The failure mileage was 6,000.
