2024 Hyundai Palisade Seats Problems

After bringing your car in for a recall service on the seat belts and emissions, the passenger seat was returned completely unbolted—the front bolts were loose on the floor, and the back bolts were also loose. When you braked, the unsecured seat slammed forward into a child car seat, creating a serious safety hazard. The repair will likely involve properly reinstalling and torquing all seat mounting bolts to secure the seat frame to the vehicle.

It requires significant force to cause the seat detection to stop folding. I’m concerned for the safety of passengers if this was accidentally engaged since easily accessible in the 3rd row.

The driver seat will move without any input from the driver, it will move forward and also tilt as far forward as possible smashing the driver in the seat. It will do this when parked after starting the vehicle and it has also done it while DRIVING which impedded my ability to control the vehicle. This situation is incredibly dangerous but when I've taken it to the dealer they refuse to troubleshoot the issue because they didn't see it happen. This happens probably 5-10 times per week.

The headrest locked into place in a reversed orientation and could not be removed or corrected without disassembly by the dealership. I was charged $680 for the repair. Vehicle has been to the dealership twice for an issue with the right-side seat bolster not correctly inflating on the driver's seat. Both times they are claiming the vehicle operates to the standards of a new vehicle on the lot but cannot give information on why the right and left sides operated differently or prove with a service manual on why. Hyundai claim's a 22-way seat, but without the right side moving, this is a 21-way seat. Would like information directly from Hyundia on the correct operations of the seat and also a replacement.
