2018 Honda Accord Fuel System Problems

UNKNOWN I received the notice that there was an active recall on my 2018 Honda about the 1.5 Fuel Pump. I have scheduled several appointments to fix this, only for Honda to cancel all appointments related to the recall, stating they didn't have the part. I was headed to work, and every light on the dashboard that could come up, came up.

Various 2018-2022 Honda Accord owners had fuel injector failures caused by the faulty factory fuel pump molding. The fuel pump has been recalled; however, not before the fuel injectors fail. My Accord recently got an array of warning lights pop up on the dash while driving on the highway.

About a week ago my all my dash lights came on dash. Doing some research I found there was a safety recall on my vehicle that I did not know about. I scheduled an appointment with Honda to get it replaced, they informed me that the fuel injectors needed to replaced and were causing misfires.

For the past four months, my check engine light has been turning on and off. One morning in traffic, my car suddenly went into limp mode. Fortunately, I was able to make it slowly yet safely to the nearest parking lot, but I had to get the car towed to different mechanics.

Last year my car had a Recall for the fuel pump, I called my dealership in Branford CT to get this issues resolved. They kept pushing me off telling me they did not have the parts and to call back in October. I called back in October for them to tell me the will not be replacing my fuel pump because the recall ended.

UNKNOWN This morning I started my car and nine code were thrown, my car was just serviced and inspected at a Honda dealership about a week ago and nothing indicated a catastrophic issue that is presenting itself now.

At 53,000, I began getting simultaneous errors light up the dashboard. I code reader indicated I had misfires on cylinder 3. Replaced spark plugs even though the originals are rated to near 100,000 miles.

Hello, the fuel pump which is recalled on my vehicle failed and was replaced with an aftermarket pump so I could take it to the dealership. Once I took it the dealership refused to go ahead with the recall and basically told me it’s not their problem. They are required to get it done for customers but they refused to fix mine.

How is that possible with low mileage cars?

I took my vehicle to Gregg Orr Honda in October when my dash lights were flashing again after having the fuel pump replaced in September. I was told that my fuel injectors needed to be replaced and that a fuel injector kit would be ordered.

Problem with fuel filler lid actuator assembly freezes causes inability to push in and open the fuel door. Dealer contends this is a known issue but no eta on repair. I have been unable to locate other complaints similar to this online and honda has not responded directly to a ticket opened on their customer service site.

I received numerous letters from Honda about the recall on my car since earlier this year. I have contacted Brian Honda in Fayetteville about 5 times already and keep getting the run around or ignored and passed along saying they do not have parts for replacement and for me to keep calling back. When I do call back they do not answer the phone or answer emails.

Fuel pump . no remedy to fix within 60 days .
