My vehicle was purchased in 2021. It is a 2018 Honda Accord Touring model. The engine is a 1.5TRG.

on going issues with 1.5 t direct injection issue with major blown head gaskets. my head gasket now has blown and causes a serious safety issue with limp mode no power. All warning light where on and I was in a turn lane on a major highway and when I took off car limp mode and almost taken out by a semi truck lucky he changed lanes to avoid hitting me.

I Have been waiting since August of 2024 to have my car repaired. I have called Honda numerous of times about my car not starting and stalling while driving. I was basically told that they will not order the part and replace until my car is fully not running at all.

Car lost power when trying to drive and I almost got hit by oncoming traffic. The car was fine and I had full power but all of a sudden without warning I had no power . I shut the car off and it was fine again.The car is at dealer and it turns out it is a bad (blown)head gasket.

3 days and 26 miles after picking up my car following the repair for the issue reported in NHTSA issue #11614854, my car again displayed a bunch of various errors on the dashboard and threw P0300, P0301, and P0304 codes via OBDII. Hello, I’m submitting this complaint regarding the Head Gasket issue being Blown out on my Vehicle, it only had (136,656) miles and has a good service and maintenance history which should have prevented the Head Gasket from blowing out, however I was informed by the Honda Service Advisor that this is an ongoing issue and that they are seeing much more of these vehicles coming in with a blown Head Gasket, unfortunately I had no other choice but to purchase a used engine and make the immediate repairs because Honda’s Head Gasket’s are in a serious Back order due to the aforementioned issue effecting many other Honda owners.

Our AC system stops blow cold air. After doing some research, a lot of Honda owners have AC problems. Most likely the cause could possible be AC compressor, or condenser which can cost 2000 or more to replace.

Engine knocks and hesitates when accelerating especially uphill. Ocean honda in north hollywood, california has checked, did drive tests and kept my car for 2 weeks and assured me the knocking and hesitation were gone. They even insisted they did not encounter any knocking nor hesitation when accelerating and driving uphill.

Car lost complete engine power and was in traffic, in motion and luckily could coast into parking lot. Honda is claiming a modified ecu and is disputing warranty. I have owned car since new and have never modified anything on the car.

I got my honda accord sport on november 30 2018 with 8 miles on the odometer. I noticed immediately that there was no heat in the car. I also noticed the temperature gauge in the dash was not reaching 'engine temperature.

Oil is seeping from the top of the engine on the driver's side. I do not know the name of this component. Initially and shortly after we bought the car november 2018, there was the smell of oil/gas around the exterior of the car.

Turbocharger. All dashboard lights are on in vehicle. All safety measures implanted in the vehicle (land departure, cruise control, etc) is not working.

When it is cold outside my ACC light comes on and when I started my car the other day it read Emissons Service Problem Avoid Heavy Acceleration and High Speed. That was just 1 among 7 other service warning that popped up.

Blown head gasket at 82,673 miles. Complete loss of power on the interstate traveling 70mph. This was after replacing all the injectors in April at 79065 miles.

The head gasket on my car blew before 150,000 miles. I had my car repeatedly serviced to include the recall for the fuel tank. I had to replace fuel injectors in a head gasket on this vehicle.

2018 Honda Accord 1.5T EX trim and I had a head gasket completely blown at around 82,600 miles. I, alongside with many many other 1.5T Accord owners, am experiencing this head gasket issue for such a low milage vehicle and it is simply inacceptable and Honda seems to be entirely ignoring this widespread, recurring problem on this engine.

Apparently the recall was fix with the fuel system, however the car is still losing power as you drive it.

The fuel pump system in my Honda Accord 2018 Lx failed causing my car engine to turn off while I was driving on the express lane which then caused my car to spin out and slam my backside of the car into the wall. I was driving alone in the car with my seatbelt on and was able to blow my horn to alert other drivers to slow down.

My fuel injectors went bad and my engine shut down while I was on the highway, only allowing me to drive 5mph.

This 1.5T has had alot of complaints about head gaskets going out. 50K miles I had it headgaskey went bad

My car is 5 years old with 72,000 miles and it now need a new head gasket. Mechanic said Honda is aware of this issue on this model car but my warranty is expired and this is costly fix for something the company is well aware of.

To whom it might concern, I have a Honda accord 2018 sport trim. The AC stopped working. This is part of the engine and should be a recall since it’s stopping to work for all Honda accords 2018 and new newer models.

at approximately 30,000 the air conditioning began blowing warm air.

The A/C system in the car blows hot air and since I have purchased the car in 2018 I had to replace the condensor three times. When the A/C is not working the car get very hot in the auto cabin. The car is almost undrivable.

The air conditioning stopped blowing cool air. It will only blow warm/hot air despite being on the lowest setting.

2018 honda accord sedan 2.0 turbo sport. 47,000 miles on odometer. Fuel is mixing with engine oil under normal driving conditions.

I was backing the vehicle slowly in front of my house and it was accelerate all of sudden. There was a curb on the back, but it went over and hit the tree. It was out of control

Most times when slowing down then hitting accelerator, to speed back up, the car "stutters" indicating it is being robbed of fuel. Noticed honda has a recall in for fuel injectors, but my car is yet to be covered.

The vehicle has developed excessive gas/oil smell halfway through the oil change cycle even when the maintenance minder shows 70% oil life. The smell occurs when driving in the midwest and causes the garage to smell like an oil/gas mixture. Oil dilution has begun occurring even when provided enough time to warm up.

Strong odor of gasoline in the engine and rising oil level. Car doesn't even have 200 miles on it! This is not what I had expected from a honda.
