2017 Ford Edge Fuel System Problems

Have check engine light on . Saying bad purge solenoid. Replaced it.

2017 Ford Edge - we were driving along at approximately 50 MPH when all of a sudden the vehicle lost power and it slowed down very fast. The car in back of us almost hit us! We limped along until we could shut the car off.

Raw fuel odor when driving and stopping the car. Fuel leak, starting problems and fuel pump issue. Car was not repaired or replaced upon request, pat milliken ford refused to work on car even though we were in immediate danger of a catastrophic problem.

Evap system purge valve problem after filling gas tank and leaving station, vehicle stuttering and stalled on road (safety issue). I had to wait to restart and then give it gas and brake at same time to get car moving. Engine light appeared.

After refueling at a bp service station, I was unable to remove the fuel nozzle from the fuel filler door. I didn't want to force the removal of the nozzle so I called ford road side assist. After trying their recommendations they suggested having the car towed.

The check engine light is on and upon diagnostics it shows there is an issue with the EVAP purge valve. This cause the vehicle to have problems starting when refueled. Cost of the repair is around $1000 due to where the valve is.

The contact owns a 2017 Ford Escape. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle made abnormal grinding sounds. No warning light was illuminated.

Fuel filler neck housing leaking causing an EVAP control system issue.

Check engine light came on after 63,000 miles of my 2017 ford edge. Took the vehicle to the dealership and was told coolant is leaking into the cylinder head per error code. Dealership stated a new engine is required to address the issue.

Common issue with purge valve to be leaking and is not in the manufacturer warranty according to them does not allow vehicle to get correct MPG. Vehicle will studder at idle or after fuel fill up. Will studder at stops as it is lacking correct fuel pressure, but wont throw code.

Mileage does not meet the fuel economy and environment range stated on the window sticker and vehicle description when the car was purchased. My car is a 2017 ford edge sel AWD with the twin-scrl 2.0l ecoboost engine and automatic transmission. The window sticker states MPG to be 20 in the city and 27 on the highway and 23 combined city/hwy.

Tl* the contact owns a 2017 ford edge. While driving 35 MPH, there was an abnormal fuel odor in the vehicle, but there was no external evidence of a fuel leak. Additionally, the contact stated that starting the vehicle was difficult and, at times, could take 10-15 seconds to start.

Bad purge valve, car wouldn't start.

When done fueling, gas pump nozzle won't come out of the new easy fill filler pipe at times. It takes a lot of twisting and turning to get the nozzle out.
