2015 Chevrolet Equinox Fuel System Problems

The vehicle stopped running. We brought it to the mechanic. The mechanic confirmed that it is a high-pressure fuel pump malfunction and a known issue with these vehicles.

Fuel shut off does not work properly, extra fuel will spill out before the station's gas nozzle shuts off. Happens at every gas station, every time. Spilling fuel is a significant safety issue and environmental concern.
