2015 Chevrolet Equinox Electrical Problems

Within the past year I have lost all sound in my 2015 chevrolet equinox three times. The first time was in june 2017, the second time was october 2018. The first two times I was able to get an update through our local dealer.

Wipers stopped working while driving in the rain on the evening of the 26th of october 2018. Fuses have been checked and though good replaced. There is a hum when you turn the wipers on.

False alarms have occurred 5 times from the forward crash alert system. The display flashes and sound several high-pitched beeps. Also one can feel slight braking and when using cruse control it disengages.

Driving at approximately 35-40 MPH with no vehicles in sight, no obstacles, on a clear day, the front collision alert turned on and the vehicle brakes were strongly applied. It was extremely rough and frightening for my daughter and I. There was no explanation for it.

The incident except for by my 2015 Chevrolet Equinox has major electrical faulty ends in and timing belt changes which causes the vehicle to stall on a consumer at any time for me I was driving on a major highway or five Lanes going to work and the car decided to slow down and started shedding off thank God that I made it to the far right side on a media strip and was able get the car to safety on the knee issue but she did slow down and shut off identity media call the triple A for help and roadside assistance they came as soon as they could and then test the car to see if it was the battery or the alternator which I had put in two brand new batteries and two brand new alternators and still have both he test them all and said no he's been pulling cars off major highways that are Equinox and terrain class action lawsuit against General motors in Chevrolet due to faulty issues in the engine and they recently One cases from 2010 to 2014 although my car is a 2015 the same issue still arise my car has 85,000 miles on it when this happens and I kept up the oil change and the maintenance on the car I then in turn had the car towed to a Chevrolet dealer and turned it a diagnostic test on my car vehicle and this is what they said in my car has the same issue that is from the previous lawsuit of Equinox 2010 to 2014.

EXCESSIVE Oil Consumption after 87,000 miles. Always had regular/up-to-date oil changes and took care of the vehicle. Had an oil change in June 2023 and in August (not may miles driven in that time frame), while driving I noticed the vehicle started to jerk...after arriving at work I checked under the hood and noticed there was NO OIL on the stick.

My car runs hot (even with all of my fluids). If I drive "too far" (25-30 mins) driving over 55mph while it's hot outside, my check engine light comes on, all the gauges in my car start going back and forth. A couple different alarms will go off (Service All Wheel Drive System, Service StabiliTrak, Service Park Assist) .

The HVAC actuator broke off preventing air flow from defrosting the windshield while I was driving through a snow storm. Because this piece failed my windshield was fogged over and I continually having to reach up to the windshield wiping fog off in order to see. In the conditions it was dangerous for myself and other drivers that I was unable to see clearly.

Wipers stopped while using them, replaced bushing multiple times won't hold. My link radio has stoped coming on and there is no back up camera or sound not even if I have blinkers on

Driving my SUV it shut off and would not start. When I was at a red light my car would totally shut off. I finally got it started when I returned home at shut off again I had to call a tow company to take it to Winter Haven Chevrolet Center. They stated it was intake cam solenoid replaces valve 0.736 also the mechanic stated they had to perform induction system cleaning service.It's very dangerous driving my vehicle then the vehicle just shuts off and die almost caused an accident. I need to know if there is a recall I had to spend $828.51. I would appreciate if somebody would get back with me on this.

Check engine light ran scan said flex fuel sensor bad replaced now the check engine light is back on. Scan says low voltage in flex fuel composition sensor. What in the world is the problem with this equinox.

My check engine light stays on all the time. Even when the oil is changed and they turn the the light off. It will come back on.

While driving in the middle if a storm, the wipers stopped in the up position. This was incredibly dangerous, even to just pull to the side of the road. Checked the fuses and nothing had blown.

Vehicle was purchased new from dealership yesterday. It had 68 miles on odometer. Drove to another destination approximately 15 miles away, parked the vehicle, turned off the ignition, got out and returned 5 minutes later then started the vehicle and drove away then noticed the electronic speedometer was no longer working.

Clock often has the wrong time and has to be reset but does not keep the accurate time after resetting. I found a TSB PIC6096B regarding this concern but not sure if any fix is available

Car continually runs my battery down. Radio malfunctions, seatbelt alarms go off. Car will start at home and I travel somewhere it won't start just clicking.

Vehicle battery dies, car dies. No them or reason to it. It will not start.

First the service airbag light comes on and none of the buttons on the steering wheel work. Now the horn is continuously blowing while driving, and won't stop until the car is turned off.

While in motion engine sputters as if running out of gas, a/c shuts down, then engine quits working and car completely shuts off. Battery is working fine; lights, radio, etc. Cannot turn engine over, cannot give gas to engine.
