Your car's airbag warning light has turned on and stayed on, and you're seeing error messages saying the front collision warning system (Front Assist) is unavailable. The dashboard is also alerting you that maintenance is needed. This likely requires a diagnostic scan to identify the specific fault in the airbag or safety system and may involve repairing or replacing faulty sensors, wiring, or control modules.

Your daughter was in an accident that totaled the car. The airbags did not deploy during the crash, and the seat belt was not tight enough to provide proper restraint. This is a critical safety issue that should be reported to Volkswagen and NHTSA, as both the airbag system and seat belt pretensioner may need inspection or replacement.
