Your air conditioning compressor partially seizes when you turn on the AC while driving or when the AC is already on when you start the engine, causing a very loud noise. When this happens, your truck suddenly slows down as if the brakes are applied until the compressor fully engages. Your dealer believes it's the compressor clutch engaging but says they can't replicate the issue in their shop, even though they've heard your recordings of the sound. The problem has occurred since you purchased the truck new and you feel it's unsafe to drive when it happens.

WHEN WEATHER GETS WARM (100F+), IT WILL OFTEN TAKE A FEW SECONDS TO START THE CAR. IT CRANKS OVER, BUT WON'T CATCH. WHEN WEATHER GETS TO 110F, IT WOULD FAIL TO START AFTER IT HAS BEEN DRIVEN, THEN PARKED. WAIT 90 MINUTES, AND IT WOULD STARTS AGAIN. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE, BECAUSE WHEN WEATHER IS 110F+, IT IS VERY VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WAITING FOR A TOW TRUCK (THEY ARE USUALLY SUPER BUSY ON A HOT DAY) OR WAIT 90 MINUTES PLUS IN 110F+ WEATHER. TOYOTA HAS REFUSED TO FIX IT, AS THEY SAY THEY NEED TO WAIT FOR A 110F+ DAY TO DUPLICATE THE ISSUE,
