Filed: Jun 2025

Your fuel line is rubbing severely against another fuel line while the engine runs, causing visible wear and flattening of the hose. The printed markings have been completely worn away, and if left unchecked, the friction could eventually wear through the hose and cause a fuel leak or fire. This issue appeared on your 2024 GR86 with only 6,000 miles and has been reported on multiple other vehicles. The fix will likely require repositioning or securing the fuel lines to prevent contact and may involve replacing the damaged hose.

You may notice wear or damage on the fuel lines located under the hood of your vehicle, possibly from rubbing against nearby components. This type of damage could potentially lead to fuel leaks over time. The repair will likely involve inspecting the fuel lines, identifying what's causing the rubbing, and either replacing the damaged fuel lines or repositioning nearby components to prevent further contact.

Filed: Jun 2025

You may notice unusual wear and chafing on three fuel lines located on the right side of your engine bay, near the intake manifold. This wear could potentially expose the fuel lines and create a fire hazard. The issue appears to be affecting multiple owners of this model. Fixing this likely involves inspecting the fuel lines for damage, adjusting their routing to prevent further chafing, and potentially replacing damaged sections or adding protective shielding.
