Your cruise control suddenly disengaged while driving on the interstate, causing your truck to lose speed and nearly resulting in a rear-end collision with a commercial vehicle. You're now experiencing a loss of multiple safety systems including the electronic brake system, ABS, traction control, and cruise control. This is the third recall attempt for these systems, and the repeated failures are making you uncomfortable towing your RV.

Your cruise control, traction control, and anti-lock braking system (ABS) are all not working. You'll likely hear warning chimes alerting you to these system failures. A mechanic will need to diagnose why these safety and convenience systems have stopped functioning, which could involve checking the vehicle's electrical system, sensors, or control modules.

Your truck's anti-lock brake system has been malfunctioning for over a year without an available fix from Chrysler. Your cruise control and traction control keep disengaging unexpectedly while driving. The dealership hasn't been able to resolve the issue despite multiple service visits. The fix will likely require a software update or replacement of the anti-lock brake system module once Chrysler develops a solution.

ABS warning lights lights keeps intermitting keeps going on and off. The ABS light and traction control lights flashes on and off, speed control goes off as well as a bell alarm. Had the ABS pump replaced under warranty at 22000 miles and now at 59000 mile same issues.

ABS light came on at 13,000 miles and was repaired under warranty. At 27,000 miles (2.5 years later), ABS has failed again, code C-020, but vehicle is out of warranty. Contacted FCA and was told "sorry, its out of warranty, pay for it yourself and keep your receipts, just in case it goes to recall". This is a know safety issue as cruise control and traction control are also tied to the ABS. Driver distraction should also be mentioned due to the entirely random but frequent chimes going off due to ABS failure. When the truck was "repaired" the first time, the bad parts were replaced with identical parts, i.e. not a redesigned, more dependable part, but the same poor design as stock.

ABS module and Hydraulic Control Unit have both failed multiple times. Known issue to RAM with no recall issued. Advised not to drive the truck until the parts are available as the brakes may completely fail unexpectedly, leading to loss of stopping ability/accident.

I have less than 60k miles on this truck, and the hydraulic brake module and pump has gone out. Truck has been parked for about 2 years now due to this issue, bc of unreliable brakes. Parts are unavailable .

Everytime the truck is driven I hear an audible chime multiple times over the trip with corresponding ABS and Traction control lights that say the systems aren't functioning. Multiple times I have experienced full lock up of all wheels while on snowy or wet roads. The chimes and flashing lights always come and go while rarely staying illuminated for more than 5 minutes, however at times will flash upwards of 15 times in a minute. Cruise control is non operational while the lights are on. This problem has been occurring for several years and best I can recall started shortly after 20 thousand miles.

Antilock brake and traction control stop working randomly. Alarms pop up on Dash board. Seems to happen more when it is humid out. With these safety devices not working the truck is not safe to drive and since the problem is random dealer can not find the cause.

ABS System, Traction Control and Cruise Control. Issues with ABS system taking out the cruise control and cause vehicle speed to decrease with out control increasing risk of a rear end collision. The manufacturer is very aware of the problem and the control unit is on back order for about 9 months. This is an intermittent problem that some times does not occur during the course of a day and sometimes it will flash 100 times a day.

The vehicle had a sudden acceleration problem and the driver ended up in a big crash. The driver is in the hospital with many injuries. The vehicle was taken to the dealer before, at the beginning of March, because the check engine light was on and the throttle control light on and the truck didn't shift properly and dealer said that he doesn't have a transmission mechanic for about a month. They worked on the recalls and the oil and fuel filters change. Afterwards I took the truck to another shop. They changed the oil at the transmission, but the truck showed the same messages on the cluster almost immediately. I took the truck to another mechanic and they changed the solenoids in the transmission, but in a short time the same messages (Check engine light and throttle control light) came on the cluster. When these light came on the truck didn't shift properly so I spoke with another mechanic about the problem and he programmed me for an appointment on August 4th. This date is too late now, because on July 25th I lost the truck in a terrible accident due to sudden acceleration of the truck and the driver could not stop it. The brakes failed and he tried to slow it down driving it against the concrete curve but he couldn't, the truck kept on speeding then he hit a big tree in order not to crash other cars on the road or the people in the driveway close to the place of the accident.

I WAS HAULING A 15,000 LB FIFTH WHEEL WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL SET AT ABOUT 45MPH COMING UP TO THE LIGHT ON HWY. 35 AND HWY. 20 INTERSECTION NORTHBOUND IN INDIANA. I TAPPED MY FOOT ON THE BREAK TO SHUT MY CRUISE CONTROL OFF LIKE I NORMALLY DO AND PUT MY FOOT ON THE THROTTLE TO CONTROL THE ACCELERATION TO THE LIGHT. I REALIZE I WASN'T SLOWING DOWN PROPERLY AND PUT MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE AND STOOD BOTH FEET ON THE BREAK TO TRY TO STOP TO AVOID HITTING THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME. I ENDED UP HITTING THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME EVEN WITH THE TRUCK AND TRAILER BRAKES APPLIED. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT GO OFF IN EITHER VEHICLE. EVERYTHING WENT SO QUICKLY, DIDN'T KNOW WHY THE TRUCK DIDN'T WANT TO SLOW DOWN. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THE TRUCK OR MY 2018 TRUCK. I BELIEVE THE CRUISE CONTROL NOT SHUTTING OFF WAS THE CAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT. I WOULD LIKE YOU TO COME AND INVESTIGATE IT TO SEE IF THAT WAS THE ISSUE OF THE ACCIDENT. I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE THAT WOULD HAVE CAUSED IT.
