I purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue in New Jersey. Approximately 45 days after purchase, Nissan issued multiple safety recalls involving a risk of crash. The manufacturer failed to provide the required parts and did not remedy the safety defects within a reasonable time.

I took my vehicle to Walmart for oil change and company would not complete due to they reporting previous issues with Nissan Rogue oil system.

Our 2023 Nissan Rogue with only 15,000 miles suffered complete engine failure (engine seized) driving on busy [XXX] passing through Baltimore. The safety of myself and my family was put at risk, and if we hadn't been in the left lane (allowing rapid access to the breakdown lane) we would have been in a multi-car pile-up going at high speeds.

On [XXX], on our 2023 Rogue with only 9100 miles on it suffered complete engine failure while driving the highway. The car had been operating for about 10 minutes, and we had just onboarded the freeway entrance and after about a mile at normal highway speeds, with no warning, the engine started making loud knocking sounds and there was a immediate loss of motive power.

Purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue in May 2023 with less than 10 miles on it. Shortly after purchase myself and my family noticed the smell of gas fumes in the cabin, which I initially ignored. I took the car back to the dealership in August 2023 at 4,700 miles due to the noxious fumes/smell.

In April of this year my 2023 Nissan Rogue complete shut down while on the highway. Received a warning notification “Engine Malfunction Power Reduced Service Now”. The car would not drive over 10 miles per hour.

I bought my daughter a new 2023 Rogue SL in June-2023 at our local Nissan dealership in Concord, CA. On [XXX] the car's engine completely cut-out on [XXX] on a trip to L.A. Fortunately, my daughter was able to coast to the far lane and call AAA for a tow to the Valencia dealership.

Subject: 2023 Nissan Rogue SV – Thermostat and Oil Temperature Sensor Failure I am reporting a mechanical failure involving our 2023 Nissan Rogue SV that may represent a broader safety concern. We purchased the vehicle used, in excellent condition, with the goal of traveling safely with our two young sons.

Component/System Malfunction: I own a 2023 Nissan Rogue and have experienced excessive engine vibrations since the beginning. Despite multiple service visits, the issue persisted, ultimately leading to a complete engine failure at 64,000 miles. I was driving on the interstate with heavy traffic with family in the car. The car engine suddenly lost power and suddenly started making a metal on metal banging noise. The check engine light didn't come on for a few minutes after but it was obvious something was wrong.

Nissan installed plastic oil plugs which when reinstalled can fail. This despite the fact the entire oil pan is aluminum. This can occur after the 2 or 3rd oil change causing the car to lose the plug, overheat due to oil loss or have to be towed because plug falls out or becomes easily stripped.

At about 17900 miles on my 2023 Rogue I got a engine malfunction warning the vehicle speed was reduced to 10pm on the freeway. Luckily I was able to pull over immediately. I had it towed to the Nissan dealer.

On July 21,2023 while driving at highway speeds the engine started to sputter. Multiple engine failure lights came on. The engine died and I had 1-2 seconds to get the vehicle out of the highway onto the shoulder.

While driving down the highway the engine started to shake violently. Barely got the vehicle pulled over before the engine locked up tight. Had we not been in the right line and close to the soft shoulder, the vehicle could have locked up and stopped in the middle of the highway with cars doing 70mph behind us.

On May 10, 2023 my 2023 Nissan Rogue with 16,633 miles on it suffered an engine malfunction and completely stalled unexpectedly on an off-ramp of State Route 28. There were no warning lights or indicators that flashed. My car would not restart.

I am advised not to drive the car above 45MPH, avoid hard acceleration or deceleration, avoid steep hill grades, and reduce the amount of cargo being hauled if possible.

Jc Billon supposedly fixed the gas line recall but unfortunately my car still smells like gas from time to time and I have reached out numerous times with no call backs and they still have not reached out about the engine recall

I am reporting a recall remedy compliance concern related to NHTSA Recall 25V-437 for my 2023 Nissan Rogue. In Nissan’s Part 573 Safety Recall Report, Nissan states that dealers WILL inspect the engine oil pan for metal debris as part of the recall remedy. ECM reprogramming is described as a follow-up step when no debris is found.

The engine now will not start and the dealership has confirmed the turbo failed forcing coolant into the engine and now it requires a full engine replacement.

My engine has a recall. When I would start my car the engine would stop half way in son I went to the repair shop twice. One time they tell me, there's an active recall.The next time they tell me there isn't.

Friday, March 24, 2023 AM: Returned to parked Rogue after an 1.25 hr appt and found the cabin reeking of a fuel smell. No fuel leaks under vehicle to explain smell. Smell dissipated some after driving for 10 mins at low speeds with outside air circulation on.

Within a week of driving the vehicle, I began to notice a strong gasoline smell when I parked the car. The issue became even more evident when I parked the car in my garage, as the garage would quickly fill with the unmistakable odor of gasoline. The smell is so persistent that it remains in the garage even the following morning.

After driving the inside cabin smells like fuel along motor area and around front of car. No noticeable leaks. Dealer said no noticeable leaks, called Nissan Tech line, tech line had them check a few specific areas believe some pressurized fuel lines.

After driving the car and parking it in the garage we notice a "raw gasoline" smell. If we are driving and idle at a stop sign the heater (heating the interior) picks up the gasoline smell and the fumes come inside the car. We have to open the windows to air it out once moving.

After 3000 miles on my car I noticed a gasoline smell in my garage after driving it. Strong smell of gasoline in our garage, coming from the 2023 Nissan Rogue everytime we park the car. Fumes/vapors fill the garage, and then into the house.

SMELLS strongly of GAS. Location of smell is strongest on driver side closest to windshield under the hood. Vehicle is currently with 2280 miles.

Strong gas odor in cabin of vehicle emanating from air cleaner housing. Also strong gas smell outside of vehicle after and while driving. Smell is very strong and causes dizziness, nausea and headaches.
