Your 2019 Rogue's CVT transmission failed at 45,000 miles with no warning signs until the check engine light appeared. You noticed hesitation and jerking at idle and during acceleration, making the vehicle unsafe to drive, especially during merging and intersections. The dealership confirmed complete transmission failure, and repairs would cost $6,500. Fixing this will require either a complete transmission replacement or rebuild.

Your 2019 Nissan Rogue has experienced transmission problems, including lurching and hesitation at low speeds (around 30 MPH) that made it feel like the engine might shut off. On another occasion, the vehicle wouldn't accelerate past 60 MPH and wouldn't respond when you shifted into reverse. A mechanic diagnosed that your transmission needs to be replaced. Your 2019 Rogue hesitates when you press the accelerator pedal, especially when accelerating uphill, and you may notice the ABS warning light flashing intermittently on your dashboard. During these hesitation episodes, you feel heat and an electrical sensation in your right foot and on the floorboard. A dealer diagnosed a transmission problem and replaced your transmission, but the hesitation and heat sensation continued even after the repair.

Your car is jerking on the freeway and hesitating when you shift into Drive, with a delay of a few seconds before it responds to the gas pedal—Reverse works normally. A diagnostic test showed your transmission is overheating quickly, which likely explains why the problem started around 60,000 miles and has gotten worse. Your car may need transmission fluid replacement, a transmission cooler repair, or internal transmission service to address the overheating issue.

Vehicle was issuing a judder feeling, and it had lack of power to the gas pedal at times. The check engine light ended up coming on for P0101 (mass air flow sensor). Dealer replaced the mass air flow sensor and cleared the code. Said they test drove it without any issues. After picking up the vehicle, it was within 10 min, the judder was being felt. Then taking the exit and slowing, I felt the lack of power to the gas pedal. Dealership was called instantly and did a further inspection. Advised that the code P17F2 was coming up and I needed a new transmission.

When driving taking off from a stand still. My Rogue is giving me hesitation. And try’s to stall when accelerating Then it starts to jerk real hard and dies sometimes it doesn’t take off from the light. Also the car starts breaking out of nowhere causing to a sudden stop. I’ve had this car less than 2years now I do not feel safe driving it at all.
I was driving my daughter to school and started hearing a crunching noise, mostly when I turned or stopped. It also sounded like rattling. Once I got to my daughters school the noise became extremely loud and there was a loud bang and smoke coming from behind my car. It smelled burnt. A piece of my car had broken from underneath. After my husband looked at the car he found it to be the rear differential that exploded from under my car. I had the vehicle towed to my house because its not safe to drive. What I am most am concerned about is there was no warning or light that came on to indicate I had a issue with my car that required servicing.
The rear differential (carrier assembly) basically exploded through the housing. This happened at a very low speed but not sure what would have happened if it were at highway speeds.

WHEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE LACKS SPEED, JERKS AND DOESN'T HAVE GOOD PICK UP. YOU CAN BE IN MOTION AND IT JERKS, THE TRANSMISSION MAY BE BAD.
THE AUTO BREAK SYSTEM CRASH SENSOR LIGHT COMES ON FOR NO REASON, THE BRAKES COME ON BY THEMSELVES WITH NO CARS AROUND. THE TRANSMISSION ALSO FEELS LIKE IT'S SLIPPING WITH HIGH RPMS FROM A DEAD STOP.
MY CAR'S TRANSMISSION ON MY 2019 NISSAN ROGUE SV AWD HAS BEEN SLIPPING FROM THE MOMENT I RECEIVED IT IN LATE MAY, 2019. ON 6/19/2019, I BROUGHT MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP TO REPORT THE PROBLEM. SINCE THEN I'VE BROUGHT IN MY CAR FOR REPAIRS ON 10/15/19, 10/18/19, 1/30/20, 2/15/20, 2/20/20, AND 3/7/20. TO NO AVAIL BECAUSE I'VE BEEN REPEATEDLY TOLD THAT THE "CODES" ARE NORMAL. ON 1/30/20, THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL BOX WAS REPLACED BUT MY CAR CONTINUES TO HAVE TROUBLE ACCELERATING, SPECIFICALLY IT REVS HIGH, BUT DOES NOT RESPOND/ACCELERATE AS EXPECTED. THIS SITUATION CONTINUES TO ENDANGER ME AND OTHERS ON THE ROAD. TO DATE, MY CAR ONLY HAS 8K MILES.
I LEFT MY CAR RUNNING WITH THE TRANSMISSION IN PARK. I WENT INTO MY HOUSE FOR A FEW MINUTES. WHEN I LEFT MY HOUSE I SAW THAT MY CAR WAS ROLLING DOWN THE DRIVEWAY. THE CAR HIT A TREE AND CAME TO A STOP. WHEN I GOT TO THE CAR IT WAS STILL RUNNING AND IN REVERSE GEAR. NO ONE WAS IN THE CAR AT THE TIME. I AM POSITIVE THAT WHEN I LEFT THE CAR IT WAS IN PARK.*DT
