The left rear suspension arm has failed. This part supports the left rear tire and wheel assembly and its failure cause the left rear tire and wheel to tilt to about a 45 degree angle. The car was able to be safely stopped, although control was severely effected.

In September 2023, my 2016 Nissan started vibrating with noise. It was not shortly after that a warning appeared on the console. The warning, "Chassis Control System Error" caused research as the vehicle worsened.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO NISSAN OF MCKINNEY (3800 S CENTRAL EXPY, MCKINNEY, TX 75069) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED AND DETERMINED THAT THE FRONT SPRINGS STOPPER AND BALL JOINTS WERE DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE 51,748. *BF

The 2016 rogue sl AWD makes a popping noise when making sharper turns in either direction such as when pulling into or out of parking spaces. It also does it when backing out and cutting the wheel. The car is low mileage and should not have this type of issue.

About a year ago (2018) my car started occasionally losing power after I had stopped at a light or stop sign after driving on a city street or getting off the highway. I would push the gas pedal and my car would not move until about 5 seconds later.

I have a 2016 nissan rogue, I have took it in to have the struts replaced 6 times and is an on going issue and I have got in contact with nissan and they told me there was nothing they could do about it. Dealership stated they were aware of the issue and that my car was not the only rogue doing this.
