Component/System Failed: Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system — specifically the heater door actuator. Description of Problem: In November 2023, I purchased a 2015 Nissan Rogue from Nissan of Merrimack Valley. By January 2024, I began experiencing major heating issues.

I was driving at approximately 25mph in a subdivision and my car turned off. I pulled over immediately to try to crank it but it would not crank. I noticed smoke coming from the engine so I exited the vehicle with my child.

My key fob barely works,the red key indicator comes on every few streets. I went for oil change & tune up,they informed me back brake light,passenger side didn't work. Got recall inspection/ repair & wasn't informed of anything wrong.

The passenger airbag is faulty, the airbag will now not deploy in the case of a collision. Initially before the airbag light was on, the sensor would classify the seat as empty when it wasn't, similar to one of the existing recalls Nissan has on Rogues, that this VIN is not included in. Now it has progressed where the SRS air bag light flickers on regardless of resetting it.

When is it raining my car has a smoking smell, which falls in line with the fact my car has a recall on it. Fire under the hood because of electrical problems. I am writing to formally document my experience with the service performed at Nissan Heights following a recall repair on my vehicle. The Electronic A/C system for no reason will when I have the blower selected to defrost or head and feet it changes the blower things that control air flow to someplace in between. Nothing blows out if vents but fan is running. Kind of dangerous when you can’t defrost windows.

On multiple occurrances beginning 5/28/20 when driving or idling on a hot day with the air conditioning operating in excess of 40 minutes, the blower remains operational but the air flow to the cabin slowly reduces and the temperature increases to a point at which it exceeds the exterior air in both temperature and humidity.

As I was driving approximately 30 MPH straight on a city street my car abruptly shut off completely while in drive. Radio stopped, no warning lights, all electrical seemed to die, power steering and power brakes seemed all to be gone. No dash lights are on.

The harness that controls the lift gate is malfunctioning. It’s an issue from the previous recall that has reproduced results. The only way to fix it is to disconnect and connect the safety pins by the foot panel on the drivers side door.

Nissan has a flaw in their door blend actuators in which over time the actuator motor that turns the HVAC flap gets worn out by the turning of the actuator. Overtime the hole in which the actuator goes into gets worn out, which disables the flap to work properly.

Driver side Car door doesn't open from the inside nor outside. Windows will not go down button on door will not open or lock door.

AC get turned on every time I turn the heat on in the vehicle driver side very cool air other side side warm air and I'm not the only person having this problem two more vehicle of the same makes and model it. Is a safety issues please consider to recall this problem with the heat

AWD disabled and chassis control warning

My fuel gauge does not regard fuel consumption nor measure fuel at all. I do not have any idea if I am on empty or half fuel. Fuel indicators just quit functioning and will cost me over $1,100 to fix.

I was in a small parking lot for a playground in wayland, ma. I was driving very slowly as kids can come out of nowhere. I found a spot to park on the left, so I turned my wheels and went in.

Simple process: programmed a key , turn into a nightmare. Have to replace a bcm and ecm in order to make a smart key. The old bcm and bcm are bricked after erased and ready to programming.

During a cold season, there was fog and ice on the windshield and I turned on the defroster to clear it. The heating function of the defroster failed, and I could not clear the windshield or keep it clear as I drove.

I don't know how to explain other than saying it seems car is not grounded correctly. When I use atms while sitting in car I get a painful shock. Tried several locations to see if that was the problem.
