Your Santa Fe's driver fatigue detection system frequently displays a "Take a Break" coffee cup warning and audio alert, even during normal, safe driving. The system can't distinguish between intentional steering corrections (from bumpy roads or sun glare) and actual drowsy driving, causing false alarms multiple times per trip—sometimes within minutes of starting. Unlike older Hyundai models, you cannot disable this alert, making it distracting rather than helpful. Fixing this would likely require a software update to improve the system's ability to accurately detect true driver fatigue versus normal driving adjustments.
