Your car's horns stopped working again about two years after being replaced under warranty at 38,347 miles. The dealer says this is a common problem because the horns are mounted behind the front bumper where they're exposed to weather and moisture. You'll need to pay around $91 plus labor to replace them again. The fix would involve replacing the horn units and potentially improving their mounting location or protection from the elements.

Your horn has been intermittently malfunctioning over the past year and is currently not working at all. A non-functioning horn is a safety concern since you need it to alert other drivers. The repair will likely involve diagnosing the horn circuit, which could mean replacing the horn itself, checking the horn relay, or repairing wiring connections.

Your horn has failed repeatedly—it's been replaced 3 times in 3 years and has stopped working again. This is a safety concern because you can't alert other drivers to potential accidents, as you experienced when a truck nearly backed into you.

Your horn has failed multiple times and required replacement at least three times, costing about $500 per replacement. While there's a known issue affecting 2022 Santa Fe horns where water gets inside and corrodes the electrical contacts, your vehicle's VIN isn't covered under Hyundai's service campaign or extended warranty that addresses this problem in some regions. The fix typically involves replacing the horn assembly to restore proper operation.

Your car's horn has stopped working again, and this is the fourth time it's failed in three years. Each horn replacement lasts about a year before stopping working, which suggests there may be an underlying electrical or wiring issue causing the horn to fail repeatedly rather than just a faulty horn unit.

Power Train →4 issues
While driving at normal speed, your Santa Fe suddenly lost power during acceleration even though the engine kept running and you didn't get any warning lights. The vehicle wouldn't respond properly to the gas pedal, creating a dangerous situation in traffic where you need consistent power to merge or cross intersections. The dealership couldn't reproduce the problem during testing, but you have video evidence of the incident occurring. The issue may happen intermittently, and fixing it will likely require the dealership to diagnose whether the problem is in the transmission, engine control system, or other powertrain components.

Your transmission warning light came on March 9th, and you noticed delayed gear shifts, slipping gears, and loud mechanical noises. The dealer has had your car since March 10th but gave you two conflicting diagnoses — first saying the transmission oil pump failed and needs replacement, then saying the transmission fluid is just low with no leaks. You're concerned because your 2022 Santa Fe is subject to a safety recall for a faulty oil pump in the dual-clutch transmission that can cause complete loss of driving power. The repair will likely involve inspecting the transmission oil pump and either replacing it or refilling the transmission fluid, depending on what's actually wrong.

Your 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe's transmission is experiencing slipping gears, delayed gear shifts, and loud mechanical noises, with a transmission warning light illuminated. One technician suggested the transmission oil pump failed, while another said the fluid was just low—you haven't received clear diagnostic confirmation from Hyundai. These symptoms could potentially cause loss of power or stalling, creating a safety concern that warrants a complete transmission inspection and possible oil pump replacement or fluid service.

Your 2022 Santa Fe stopped accelerating properly while driving at 20 mph, feeling like the transmission was stuck in high gear. An independent mechanic diagnosed this as a transmission failure, and you suspect it may be related to a manufacturer recall. The issue occurred at 98,300 miles and hasn't been repaired yet.

Fuel/propulsion System →2 issues
Your 2022 Santa Fe is experiencing repeated fuel injector failures that cause hesitation and jerking when you accelerate. The check engine light keeps coming back on even after the dealership has replaced multiple fuel injectors—first one, then another, and there's a technical bulletin indicating all four may need replacement. The dealership will likely need to replace all four fuel injectors and investigate why they're failing repeatedly.

Service Brakes, forward Collision Avoidance →1 issue
Your 2022 Santa Fe has experienced multiple incidents of unexpected braking and acceleration at highway speeds, including five sudden braking events over about 20 miles on I-275. The vehicle hit your mother's home during one incident, and a service manager later said the issue was caused by a malfunctioning sensor or camera and recommended the vehicle not be driven. Despite these problems and an open federal recall for the rearview camera system, Hyundai has denied the issue exists and released the vehicle back for road use. The fix would likely involve repairing or replacing the faulty camera and forward collision avoidance system components, along with a software update.

Electrical System,engine →1 issue
Your car's blower motor stopped working, and the dealership discovered that the engine harness has melted and damaged the fuse box under the hood. This prevents the blower motor from being replaced until the fuse box is fixed. You noticed a burning or hot smell in the car before the airflow stopped. The dealership reports seeing this same problem in multiple 2022 Santa Fes. Fixing this will require replacing the engine harness and the melted fuse box.

Electrical System,unknown Or Other,engine →1 issue
Your engine control harness is damaged because the fuse box under it melted, which caused your blower motor and relay to fail. As a result, your air conditioning and heating system isn't blowing any air into the cabin. The dealership has reported seeing this same problem on multiple Santa Fe models from this year.

Power Train,electrical System →1 issue
Your gear shifter intermittently stops working and displays a "Gear Shift Malfunction" message, forcing you to restart the vehicle to move the shifter. The dealer found a broken wire between the transmission, rain sensor, and shift control unit and replaced it, but the vehicle still vibrates abnormally during operation. The dealer recommended replacing the entire transmission to fully resolve the issue.

Wheels,service Brakes,engine →1 issue
Your car shakes when you brake at highway speeds (around 70 mph), a problem that's persisted since you bought it new in 2022. The dealership has resurfaced the rotors multiple times without fixing the issue, and now they're recommending a $500 brake job without guaranteeing it will solve the shaking. The fix will likely involve a thorough brake system inspection, possible brake pad and rotor replacement, and possibly checking suspension or wheel alignment issues that could be causing the vibration.
