2023 Hyundai Palisade Other Problems

We were driving on a residential street, and our sunroof just exploded!

Our vehicle has yet another active recall, without a remedy. The vehicle is “unsafe in event of a crash in the third row”. I specifically bought this vehicle because I have children and need the third row.

I was driving my 2023 Hyundai Palisade at 75 MPH on I25 in Northern Colorado when I heard a terribly loud noise like an explosion above my head. I jerked but kept control of the car. My immediate thought was that something dropped on my roof but I wasn't under an overpass.

I noticed my right rear tire skidded on the road when I turned. Went to dealer. They didn't find anything.

While the car was in motion all the warning lights started going off for Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assistance, Parking Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Warning saying that they weren’t working and then the power steering turned off all the dash lights came on like the check engine, the oil light, battery, Car lock, ABS, Traction on and off, Tire pressure etc.

I was driving home in the evening and we heard a loud explosion then shattered glass. When we pulled over to check, our sun roof had exploded outward.

I was slowing down approaching an intersection with cars already at a full stop up ahead. I was braking to slow down in preparation to stop. As I got closer, I drove over railroad tracks and felt the brake pedal begin to vibrate like the automatic emergency braking system kicked in.

When put in snow mode, there is a loss of power or failure for the car to accelerate at all. You can put the accelerator to the floor, and the car will not move forward. You basically can not drive in traffic.

This is the third occurrence since we bought the car new in August of '23. The car will lock all of its doors and we won't be able to get inside. Once we manage to get inside the dash will not display.

I have recently received a recall notice from Hyundai USA, stating that my 2023 Hyundai Palisade needs an immediate fix for transmission electric oil pump to avoid potential fire risk. It suggested that I should immediately reach out to the nearest dealer for a part replacement. However, I searched several dealer locations in WA and they do not have any availability within the next 60 days.

While driving my two young daughters to school this morning I heard a loud bang which resembled to that of a gunshot as I was driving on my own on the freeway at about 60 MPH. I looked around and saw no nearby accidents or even vehicles within a 5 mile radius. Shortly after I could hear a lot of wind noise inside my vehicle, sure enough my panoramic sunroof imploded.

Our sunroof exploded today (May 8, 2023) with no warning while sitting at a red light. Nothing hit the glass. Luckily the shade was pulled closed so no glass fell on us.

SUV turned itself off in traffic. I had it towed to dealership and they told me that they couldn't fund anything wrong. The SUV could not accelerate in traffic three weeks ago.

2023 palisade is stalling out. Happened three times in the last six months, I’m slowly driving around 20mph and then it decides it doesn’t want to accelerate. The car is still running, but the engine won’t rev or move, no RPM increase with pumping the pedal, the engine is silent, and I just hang out at 20 MPH (pedal to the floor and all).

I was driving down a 4 lane highway at 70mph with no landscaping, cars or trucks around me what so ever and my sunroof imploded on me. Luckily my sunshade was closed. The glass was domed outwards like pressure from inside the cabin pushed it out and shattered into tiny pieces.

I was driving about 40mph on a sunny, dry day, and approached a red light. I depressed the brake, and rather than stopping, the brake vibrated and the car continued to coast an additional 2 car lengths. On a second occasion, about 2 months later, I was driving about 25mph on a sunny, dry day, and I came to an intersection.

Over sensitive ABS when going over bums or bumpy roads the breaks get really hard , makes a loud cranking noise and break peddle starts shaking really bad unable to bring the car to a complete stop I’ve taken it in and they said they couldn't mimic that reaction. It feels very unsafe specially when you have little kids in they car.

Leased vehicle in September 2022. In December 2022 Apple Car Play stopped functioning. This was a safety issue as when driving to a destination all of a sudden it stopped working so the GPS directions stopped and the calls would not come through either over the Bluetooth so we had to fumble with the phone.

The back seat windows r very cloudy. When super sunny sometimes hard to see things.

I received a recall almost a year ago. Immediately contacted a Hyundai dealership who kept me on hold for an hour and said they couldn’t fix it or don’t know when someone would be able to. They got my number down and were supposed to call me and never did.

Hazy film on second row window blinds you when pulling out almost got hit twice because of the sun glaring on the hazy blurry window. The dealer ship is aware of this and said they need to be replace but Hyundai said it was made that way. this is the first year for these kind of windows they are dangerous when trying to see out.

I was driving down the roadway and heard a loud noise that sounded like an impact followed by the sound of glass cracking. The panoramic sunroof suddenly shattered. I was confused because I had not gone under an over pass and there were no trucks in front of me to launch a rock in my direction.

1) Drivers seat moves while driving. 2) Seat positioning failure. Failure causes seat to move back increasing length from pedals.

We heard a very loud gunshot noise on 2023-10-20 while traveling on the I40 during a weekend road trip. We immediately got off the upcoming exit to inspect the tires for a blowout and other vehicle issues, however no issues were seen. No 18 wheelers or construction vehicles were near us at the time of the event.

Cannot get either of 2 local Kerry dealerships to back with me to schedule an appointment for repair

A few weeks ago, I made an appointment to address the recent safety recall concerning the transmission electric oil pump (campaign 246 / NHTSA recall number 23V-526.) For added clarity – the dealer identified the vehicle, saw that it was part of the recall and scheduled me for an appointment to correct this important safety matter.

Rear door windows are hazy, foggy and are a safety issue in both daytime and evening due to poor visibility. Hyundai issued a TSB #23-BD-001H. I am requesting windows be replaced and Hyundai has rejected my request.

2 row windows tint is faulty. It is a white hazy fog between the glass. When sun shines on it sometime you can not see out of.

I've had two incidents with my car. I've been to the service center several times, but no one can help me. How much longer can this go on?

I was driving on the highway at about 65-70 MPH and the sunroof spontaneously shattered. It sounded like an explosion. No object hit the car.

I was stopped at a stop sign with my foot firmly on the brake and vehicles engine starting revving. Next was stopped at my mailbox with the foot firmly on the brake and engine started revving again. Next, I was pulling into my garage and had just taken my foot off of the brake and engine revved again, this time propelling me into my garage wall.

The way this vehicle is designed, the angle of the lower screen that controls the AC is at the perfect angle to blind its drivers at times of sunset and sunrise and even some times between the two. This can happen no matter which cardinal direction you are traveling. I am blinded on a curvy road I drive every day to pick up my child to school.

My windshield has cracked two times in a year and a half. I have owned 5 cars and been driving for over 30 years and never had this problem before.

Palisade's Windshield cracked without any incidents, SUV was parked in the garage and today morning 03/21/2024 it had a 15-20 inch crack on the bottom of the windshield.

The second all glass sunroof combusted in the center while driving. It sounded like a tire blowing out, really loud burst. No warning.

When applying the brakes if you hit a bump in the road the front end of the vehicle shakes violently and does not stop, lunges car forward

I received a recall on my vehicle. And it said to park my car until I can get it seen about. I have an appt until oct 2.

Brand new 2023 Palisade with rear windows hazy, causing poor visibility.

Left turn signal will not disengage. Right turn signal and cameras are disabled

Rear passenger windows cloudy. Defect with the tint inside the window glass restricting visibility especially in sunlight.

Windshield broke with no reason, no vehicle in front or around vehicle

The second row windows are not clear and are hazy. It is affecting visibility.

The 2 second row windows are extremely hazy while all other windows are clear.

The rear door glass is hazy and hard to see through. When driving you need to view out those windows when merging. This is a safety concern.

Passengers window s has a hazy white film problem. Not clear tint. Fault in tint

Hazy, film-like on back seat windows. doesn't come off. Looks almost milky it's so hazy.
