2019 Honda Pilot Steering Problems

While driving straight, my 2019 Honda Pilot activates collision “BRAKE” warnings and applies steering wheel torque when there are no vehicles or obstacles present. The system intervenes unexpectedly and repeatedly. The attached documents show that I reported this issue to a Honda dealership and Honda Customer Relations (case #16094868).

At a stop light the my car turned off and did not come back on for 5 mins. I am aware of the auto stop feature for fuel efficiency but I was in a turning lane. I literally could have been in an accident.

On 4-30-21, my 2019 Honda Pilot was repaired per recall for sudden loud speaker popping. I'd complained about that issue since buying the car. I'd also complained since purchase about frequent false collision mitigation system errors some of which engaged the brakes.

Since we purchased the vehicle back in 2019, the truck would stall and want to shut off during driving on and off. We received the recall information back in August and were told to call and make an appointment to service the recall. Back in August they said they didn't have enough parts in stock to service the recall and they would call me when more parts became available.

Needed a steering rack. Needed a new transmission due to a torque converter failure. Now AWD is intermittently faulty needing fuel injectors.

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Pilot. The contact stated while driving 30 MPH, there was an abnormal beeping sound coming the instrument panel three times and the steering wheel unexpectedly became inoperable. The contact stated that the steering started shaking abnormally.

My 2019 Honda Pilot alignment pulls badly to the right while driving on any type of road surface. I have had the vehicle aligned numerous times and the car still pulls to the right. I have heard from other people friends of mine that own Pilots that they have this issue as well.

Several times since 2019 while driving on not straight roads(slight curves either left or right), the Automatic Emergency Braking would activate, First I would get a big bold BRAKE in Red letters on the Display.

While driving my 2019 honda pilot at 25mph or 60mph, without warning in the speedometer area emergency messages began flashing: power steering, transmission, lane mitigation, brakes, cruise control, engine, etc. With a message that says stop the vehicle and call the dealer.
