2019 Honda Civic Body & Structure Problems

On 01/15/2023 my son was driving on a highway in our 2019 Honda Civic LX when he heard a scary grinding sound under the car. He was forced to stop on the side of the highway only to discover that the splash shield at the bottom of the car was almost disconnected from the car itself.

September 13 2019 - front spoiler under the bumper partially detached while driving on I-65 at ~70 MPH. This happened suddenly and violently and nearly resulted in an accident when it happened due to the spoiler immediately dragging the payment (I.e. Impacting control of the car coupled with startling the driver).

I purchased my car in December 2018. My car is a 2019 Honda Civic SI coupe I didn’t have any problems with my car other than two big dents on the top next to my sunroof.

The paint on my 2019 Civic Coupe began to completely flake off inside the fuel door jam. The primer is completely exposed. There was no scratching or dent or any kind of impact that could have brought on the paint damage since the area is tucked away.

My 2019 Honda Civic is experiencing paint chipping on the mirrors and door handles. I've noticed others reporting similar problems. The paint is literally bubbling off.

My trunk opens on it’s own while riding down the road! Every day several times a day I have to pull over and close my trunk because it opens on its own! It’s very dangerous as I have had things fly out of my truck bc of this!

This year, the paint on both side view mirrors and door handles started chipping away. The vehicle is a 2019, so it is less than 4 years old. There is no reason that the paint in those specific areas should be chipping away already except for a factory defect.
