2017 Honda Accord Transmission Problems

Several times when driving at speeds of 50-60mph with my foot steady on the accelerator, the car will suddenly start to slow down so that I am going only, say, 40 MPH.

Honda issued a recall for the torque converter on my 2017 Honda Accord. I had received the paperwork in June of this year and have been battling with them ever since. I had to have my transmission replaced due to repeated issues with my torque converter code appearing and lose of power over a year ago.

On Sunday, March 30th, while driving on the highway, the car jerked and a hard vibration was felt before the engine died. The orange engine light flashed two or three times on the instrument panel but that was it. The owners manual states that a flashing orange engine light indicates a misfire.

Brake caliper retaining clips appear to be incorrectly installed or poorly designed. This has a trail of problems compiling at a quick pace. The brake pads don't travel freely even with grease.

While driving on the highway with my family on Tuesday, [XXX] the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) failed and created a dangerous and hazardous situation for my family and others on the road. The D3 warning light and check engine light appeared and simultaneously the vehicle shifted to a lower gear. The vehicle was only operable at a lower speed and gear.

My honda accord has 68,000 miles on it and the CVT transmission is failing. It's jerking, especially in low gears and rides rough. I've been doing some research on the CVT transmission and it's not good.
