2015 Dodge Journey Engine Problems

After buying used 2015 Dodge journey driving home from work at busy rush hour traffic my car just stopped with loss of brakes and steering was nearly rear ended was so nervous by this car started since then it keeps doing it but now check engine light is on I'm going thru divorce and he is incarcerated so I don't have a ton of money dealer wants be to pay I have since researched this online and find this to be a repeated over and over again problem this is the first Dodge vehicle I've owned and will be the last I do not feel safe driving this vehicle at all and I don't feel safe with the with Dodge if they're not going to stand behind their product I see that there was problems with that they took care of before the year 2015 but not since although it's the same problem I'm sick of being taken by these large corporations that just getting bigger and bigger on their greed while I struggle and have no help with the situation my car has been sitting for 2 months now in my garage although I'm making payments on it and can't get it titled

I have had my car repaired a couple of time for the same issue, and both mechanics have told me that there is a recall on my cylinder 2 engine and the manufacturer was not saying anything which is causing the check engine light to come on and codes reading the same every single time: misfire, spark plugs and gaskets which have all been replaced twice in the 5 years of owning this car.

This was not an overnight thing. The hoses were being exposed to maximum temperatures each time I drove the car. The hoses going from that extreme heat to cold over and over again which caused little air bubbles in the hoses.

When you are driving the car it doesn't matter the speed the car will turn off without any warning. Causing a dangerous and scary situation after you put in park and press the start button amd it will turn back on. Happened on 10/ 07/18 the first time replaced crankshaft sensor.

While driving with our two children in the vehicle the engine shut off and the power steering and power brakes did not work, there was no control over the vehicle. While driving with my 2 young children my car shut off out of no where. Oil filter adapter housing is leaking. We have been told by dealership, this is a nationwide issue and the part is on back order for up to 4 months or longer. And was told by dealership vehicle cannot be driven.

I have had my new 2015 journey since march 2015. The first incident was in june 2015. I was driving and my car died while driving.

I have 94,000 miles and transmission is slipping

Driving down the interstate my journey just 'shut down.' once getting it to a shop they informed me that the engine was probably the cause. The vehicle is at 119,323 miles and dropped a cylinder resulting in having to replace the entire engine.

My journey will turn off sitting a stop light or just turn off while accelerating from a stop position. Entering or exiting traffic. When checking engine light the camshaft sensor was defective.

I have had my car right at 3 months and it just shuts off with no warning. I have children in this car going down the interstate and it just shuts off. There is no warning signs and no way to get it off the side of the road.
