DODGE/JEEP DEALER IDENTIFIED THE ABS MODULE TO BE FAULTY AND NOT REPLACING IT EVEN THOUGH ALL AMERICAN MODELS HAVE BEEN RECALLED AND RECTIFIED OR REPLACED. I WAS DRIVING ON A CITY STREET. AFTER GOING OVER A SMALL BUMP ON THE STREET, THE ABS WARNING LIGHT AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. I WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE WARNING WENT OFF TEMPORARILY, BUT WHEN I STARTED TO DRIVE AGAIN, THERE WAS A SMALL SKID AND WARNING LIGHTS CAME BACK ON. THERE IS MORE "PLAY" WHEN I BRAKE, BUT I WAS ABLE TO COME TO A STOP.THE WARNING LIGHTS HAVE REMAINED ON. WE HAVE BEEN HAVING A LOT OF RAIN WHERE I LIVE. I HAVE SEEN REPORTS OF OTHER PEOPLE HAVING SIMILAR PROBLEMS WITH MY MODEL OF CAR. REASON : UNKNOWN.
