Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling various Dodge, Chrysler, and RAM vehicles equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V824-0103.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or requiring excessive force to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. For a full list of the affected fire extinguisher models visit: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17E062-5427.pdf
Risk: If the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury in the event of a fire.
Fix: Chrysler will notify owners instructing them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began February 14, 2018. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403 or Kidde customer service service toll-free at 1-855-262-3540, or online at www.kidde.com and click on "Product Safety Recall" for more information. Chrysler's number for this recall is T82.

Chrysler Group, LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2010-2014 Chrysler Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan vehicles manufactured August 25, 2010, through October 31, 2013. The affected vehicles may experience overheating of the vent window switch in the driver's door armrest.
Risk: An overheated switch may result in a vehicle fire.
Fix: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the vent window switch with a newer version, free of charge. The owner notification letter was issued and the remedy campaign launched on on December 31, 2014. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is P25.
NHTSA Campaign: 16V044000
Component: VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD
FCA US LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Chrysler Town and Country, and 2014-2015 Dodge Grand Caravan vehicles manufactured August 16, 2014, to December 5, 2015. The windshield on the affected vehicles may have been installed using expired urethane primer, allowing the windshield to become displaced in the event of a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 212, "Windshield Mounting."
Risk: If the windshield dislodges during a crash, there is an increased risk of occupant injury.
Fix: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the windshield, free of charge. The recall began March 4, 2016. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is S02.
NHTSA Campaign: 14V632000
Component: TIRES:PRESSURE MONITORING AND REGULATING SYSTEMS
Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2014 Chrysler Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan vehicles manufactured March 20, 2014, to April 22, 2014, and 2014 Jeep Wrangler vehicles manufactured March 21, 2014, to April 22, 2014. Due to a software error, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) may fail to learn the locations of the individual sensors while the vehicle is being driven. As a result, the low tire pressure warning light will illuminate, despite the the tire pressures being within specification. Should one of the tires lose air pressure, the driver would not be notified of the change in air pressure. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems."
Risk: If the TPMS light illuminates because the sensors cannot be located, it could mask an actual low tire pressure condition, possibly resulting in tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Chrysler has notified owners, and dealers will reprogram the TPMS module, free of charge. The recall began on October 23, 2014. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is P63.

Please refer to Rollx's recall report for specific model year information. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
Risk: An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.
Fix: Rollx will work with Q'Straint to inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 5, 2026. Owners may contact Rollx's customer service at 1-800-956-6668.

Your passenger-side sliding door's electronic lock is malfunctioning—sometimes it unlocks on its own while you're driving, and other times it won't unlock at all so you can't open the door. You may also see a warning message saying the door isn't latched securely, and your roof light stays on while the vehicle won't lock properly. A mechanic confirmed the sliding door locking mechanism is faulty and needs replacement.

Seats →4 issues
Your driver's seat headrest suddenly exploded and moved forward while you were driving on the highway at normal speeds, striking the back of your head and nearly causing an accident. There were no warning lights or sounds before it happened. Dodge has acknowledged this is a known issue and extended the warranty coverage to 10 years/unlimited mileage, though your vehicle appears to be out of the original warranty period. The repair will likely involve replacing the entire seat headrest assembly.

Your passenger side headrest suddenly deployed on its own, with the housing breaking apart in the process. If someone had been sitting in that seat, they could have been struck in the back of the head without any warning. You're now concerned the driver side headrest may do the same thing while you're driving, and the passenger headrest is no longer safe to use.

Your driver's side headrest suddenly broke apart while you were driving, with the fabric portion popping forward away from the plastic backing and exposing the springs inside. The headrest struck you in the back of your head with considerable force, though it wasn't painful. This happened without any prior warning signs or vehicle accidents, and your husband temporarily held it together with a zip tie. The fix will likely involve replacing the headrest assembly or having it professionally repaired to ensure the springs and fabric are properly secured.

Power Train →1 issue
While driving at 30 mph, your van suddenly lost power and came to a stop, with the engine RPM jumping to 4,000 before dropping. The transmission became unresponsive, downshifted unexpectedly, and made abnormal sounds while the vehicle bucked for about 1/8 of a mile—you had to use the brakes to prevent a crash. An independent mechanic determined your transmission needs to be replaced. This happened at approximately 79,000 miles with no warning lights to alert you beforehand.

Air Bags →1 issue
Your passenger headrest airbag unexpectedly deployed while you were parking in your driveway, even though no one was sitting in that seat. There were no warning lights before this happened, and Dodge told you there are no recalls for this issue. The airbag will need to be inspected and replaced to determine why it deployed on its own.

Air Bags,seats →1 issue
While driving on the highway, your airbag warning light came on, followed by a cracking sound. Your airbag then deployed unexpectedly even though you weren't in a crash, hitting you in the back of the head and causing dizziness. You had your children in the car at the time. You mention that Dodge has refused to repair it and that you never received a recall letter about a 2024 service extension, despite reports that this issue has affected other owners.

Engine →1 issue
Your oil cooler's seals are leaking, causing oil to drip onto the engine and exhaust system. This creates a potential fire hazard and could cause your engine to overheat and seize, especially at highway speeds or while cornering. The issue stems from a plastic cooler design placed in an extremely hot engine area. Fixing this requires replacing the oil cooler assembly with an updated design.

Electrical System,wheels,fuel/propulsion System →1 issue
After replacing your battery, your van won't shut off even when you remove the key—the engine keeps running. You also notice the dashboard shows the transmission in reverse when it's actually in park, and the car won't shift out of gear. Multiple warning lights are on including check engine, low tire pressure, and ABS. There's a known recall for the fuel pump relay that may be related to these electrical issues.

Electrical System,structure,engine →1 issue
Your rear hatch opens on its own while driving at speeds of 30 mph or lower, which you've disabled by removing the fuse due to cost concerns. You're also experiencing a ticking noise from the right rear corner that occurs when parked or starting out, but not while driving. Additionally, within the past year you've had to replace your starter, alternator, battery, and ignition switch in sequence—each repair temporarily fixes the problem for a month or two before the next component fails. Diagnosing and fixing these electrical issues may require tracing wiring from the front to back of the vehicle.

Electrical System,engine,fuel/propulsion System →1 issue
Your engine stalls while stopped at red lights. Before it dies, you'll notice the RPM drops, the car shakes slightly, and then the engine shuts off completely. This could indicate an issue with fuel delivery, ignition timing, or engine idle control that needs diagnosis and repair.

Electrical System,air Bags →1 issue
While driving at night, your vehicle suddenly lost all engine power with no warning light appearing on the dashboard. You were able to restart the engine and continue driving. Although you suspect this is related to a known recall involving the electrical system and airbags, your vehicle's identification number was not included in that recall. The issue hasn't been diagnosed or repaired yet.

Traction Control System,engine →1 issue
Your vehicle won't accelerate when you press the gas pedal after shifting into Drive, and both the check engine and traction control warning lights are on. A mechanic found that the fuse box in the engine compartment has melted, which is preventing the engine from operating normally. This will require replacing the damaged fuse box and diagnosing what caused it to overheat in the first place.

Unknown Or Other →1 issue
Your sliding door won't unlock because the actuator (the mechanism that operates the lock) failed and broke at its connection point. The door is now stuck in the locked position with no way to open it without cutting into the door panel. Fixing this will likely require replacing the sliding door actuator assembly.

Wheels →1 issue
Your tire pressure warning light keeps turning on even though you've replaced the tire pressure sensors with both aftermarket and OEM Chrysler parts. The vehicle only recognizes the left front sensor, but all the sensors work fine when tested individually. Your vehicle was built during a time period covered by a safety recall, and your mechanic believes it should be included, but dealerships won't honor the recall.
