2015 Dodge Dart Steering Problems

On my way home early morning I lost full function of my car. Luckily I was pulling into my home but my car would not go in any other gear but reverse. I could not properly put it in park or cut it off.

Driving on the open road the car looses power, can't steer can't accelerate. Very dangerous when traveling at 70 MPH even at 35 thru the city. I have noticed online of all the complaints and dodge just says I don't know what to tell you.

The steering will catch or lock at times while driving. Increased effort is needed to turn causing over steering with possible loss of control.

November 1 2015 while traveling on parkway 376 in pittsburgh pennsylvania . I became trapped behind a portion of a tree that had made it's way in the lane I enter the parkway. After being forced to stop, and put hazards on and attempt to merge into traffic.

I've had my car for over a year now and I have 9850 miles on my vehicle. Around 1am after coming back home from work going 60mph, I heard a loud clunk in my steering wheel and I decided to not pay attention to it because I thought it was the road. I tried to switch lanes, when suddenly I couldn't move my steering wheel at all.

My 18 year old daughter was driving in motion when steering went out causing vehicle to go into oncoming traffic almost causing accident vehicle was on acme rd in rittman ohio a country road moving forward at 50 MPG steering did not respond to my steering until I had to slam on brakes almost hitting incoming car. Took to dealer and they 3 bulletin repairs.

Unexpectedly loss motive power resulted in a crash.

Driving at approx. 20 MPH, getting ready to make a right turn into a parking lot, battery light illuminated, instrument panel went black, total loss of electrical power and steering. Coasted into a parking space and returned to car in about 20 minutes.

Vehicle had a defective, broken clasp spring which could have allowed the air bag to deploy at any time while driving....causing serious injury or death to the driver, passengers and all others in the path of the vehicle driving california highways. The vehicle was defective from the moment it was driven off of the car lot.

The recall for the gear shift has been worked on by a dodge service dealer and I'm still having issues if the gear sticking intermittently where I can't switch from drive to park and I get stranded in the highway. I am a single mom with a 5 month old and I am afraid for us. I have taken back to service for a recheck and they say everything is fine.

I bought a 2015 dodge dart sxt with 32996 miles on it.got the car on 4-4-2017.I had it not even a month and it's been one thing after another with it.first it dont shift properly it gets to a high RPM then it shoot you forward at a fast speed.then a very bad knocking in the front end when you turn the wheel from left to right while parked.the dealership looked at it 3 times and couldn't diagnose it but did tell me it needs two up dates that would fix the shifting issue,then said I needed a new right shift axel and I asked them to check the right hub cause the other shop told me the hub was bad.

After numerous times the car has stalled in traffic, dodge placed vehicle on an oil consumption study, the car failed the study and a new engine was placed in the car. The car went back to the dealer the next day due to metal to metal grinding in steering at the slightest hint of a turn or curve

While driving in the morning in a neighborhood speed limit of 30, I decrease speed to come to a full stop and suddenly the vehicle shuts off engine power and power steering at approximately 10mph. Vehicle was unable to start until the 3rd attempt. Had the vehicle towed to dealer and they were unable to diagnose the issue until the vehicle stalled the 2nd time.

Clunking noise with or without engaging brake pedal

Battery light comes on. Recall for shifter was fixed, but the fuse box is now burnt. It's is a special part.

Vehicle is making a rattling sound when turning at a slow speed. Sounds like metal scraping. Happens when turning below 10mph on a slanted or straight road.

I started my vehicle this morning and it started rough and was surging. At takeoff the vehicle was driving strangly. Slowed to make a uturn, turned to the left slightly and my steering wheel locked, car shut down and was barely able to brake to slow down.

When starting the car the rpms race on their own. It accelerates on it own. Check engine light is on.

My car keeps cutting off while I'm driving. The batter light comes on without any warning. After the batter light comes on the only thing I can do is steer, the car starts to slow down, I can't excel at all, raido and all lights cut off as well.

Car slows down battery light came on steering locks up car g=has 11000 miles took car to dealership and of course couldnt find anything wrong with car

I purchased my 2015 dodge dart on january 19, 2015. The vehicle currently has approximately 1800 miles on it. This morning when backing out of my driveway I turned the steering wheel to back into the road.

I started the car moved the shiftier to reverse took foot off brake started to reverse slowly. The car jumped forward on to curb and grassy area destroying under body shields maybe because of recall 19v-293

Takata recall. My car gear shift cable came apart while shifting gears to park. I am unable to move from different gears.

I have had several problems with this car. The main problem is when the oil gets low, the oil light doesn't come on, and the car shuts down. This causes the steering wheel to lock up, and it becomes hard to properly pull the car over safely.

Takata recall while diving at approximately 30 MPH I was taking a left turn into my neighborhood when the vehicle began to accelerate on its own causing me to strike my drivers side front wheel on the curb disabling my vehicle. The motor still continued to rev at a high RPM for 10-15 seconds after impact without the accelerator being touched.

Just bought the 2015 dodge dart on 9/2/15 . I have 71 miles on it right now. While I was driving the steering wheel locked up and I could barely turn the wheel.
