Your new Cooper Discoverer All-Terrain tires were installed with TPMS sensors on all four wheels, but the store initially gave you incorrect information about needing a new battery to reset them. More importantly, at the recommended tire pressure of 44 psi, you're experiencing unsafe handling — the tires feel soft and squishy, and your vehicle's rear end pulls to the side and slides when turning at normal speeds, which is especially concerning when towing. The tires need to be replaced with a different model that provides proper support at the manufacturer's recommended pressure.
