Your windshield wipers are activating on their own even when the stalk switch is in the OFF position, typically happening after the car has been driven for 20+ minutes or after sitting in heat. This intermittent activation can startle you while driving and create a dangerous distraction, especially at highway speeds or in traffic. The Toyota dealership hasn't been able to reproduce the issue during short test drives. Replacing the wiper switch stalk assembly (which likely has worn internal contacts from heat and vibration) should resolve the problem.

Your windshield wipers stop moving in the middle of a wipe cycle, leaving part of your windshield blocked. This is a hazard when driving in rain or snow since you lose visibility. The problem appears to affect multiple 2020 Corollas. Fixing this typically involves replacing the wiper motor or checking the electrical connections to the wiper system.

Your windshield wipers are turning on by themselves even when you've switched them to the off position. This happens randomly and without you touching the wiper controls, and it keeps occurring intermittently. The issue likely involves a faulty wiper motor relay or control module that needs to be inspected and replaced.

The windshield wipers stop in the middle of the windshield at times when set to intermittent. Sometimes they will not shut off when they are turned off. This can be a hazard while you are driving and you never know when it will happen.
While driving with the windshield wipers on during a rain storm , the wipers would stop working suddenly. The Car was taken to dealer and windshield motor was replaced. Without working wipers, it was dangerous to drive.
The wipers keep stopping during use. I have to switch speeds to get it running again. Very dangerous when raining.
The windshield wipers seize up. On the intermittent setting, instead of wiping every few seconds they sometimes wipe 3 times in a row and then stop in the middle of the windshield sometimes obstructing my view. They sometimes start back up on their own and sometimes are stuck there until I switch to a higher speed and lower speed for the windshield wipers. It becomes a game of trying to restart them while driving while it's raining. It's dangerous.
Wipers randomly stall mid-cycle when in use, speed settings are inconsistent and sometimes fail to function at all.
THE WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID SPRAYS OVER THE CAR ONTO CARS/ROAD BEHIND THE CAR. THE WASHER FLUID ALSO SPRAYS INTO THE CAR OF THE SUNROOF IS OPEN. TOYOTA DEALERSHIP REPORTS THAT IT'S 'OPERATING AS DESIGNED' AND DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THIS IS CONCERNING BECAUSE IT COULD DISTRACT THE DRIVER BEHIND ME WHEN I TRY TO CLEAN THE WINDSHIELD AND THEY COULD RUN INTO MY VEHICLE, POSSIBLE CAUSING A MULTI-CAR CRASH.

I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING SHOT AT, THE NOISE OF IT BLOWING TERRIFIED ME! I TOOK MY CAR TO TOYOTA AND SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO!! MY WARRANTY WON'T EVEN COVER IT! IT'S 700 DOLLARS TO FIX IT. I KNOW THIS WAS NOT MY FAULT AND NOTHING HIT MY WINDOW IT WOULD HAVE NOT EXPLODED IF THAT WAS THE CASE. *TR

WAVY WINDSHIELD.DISORIENTING WHEN IN MOTION. DEALER SAID ALL VEHICLES HAVE THIS. I HAVE CHECK AND ALL DO NOT. THEY SAID IT IS KNOWN BUT NOT A DEFECT. I BELIEVE IT IS POOR LAMINATION AND ALONG WITH A BAD VIEW MAY NOT PROTECT IN AN ACCIDENT. I DON'T BELIEVE IT IS 'NORMAL"
