Owner Complaints (10)
It appears that the driver seat and I suspect the passenger seat has some sort of internal issue or defect. Every time I accelerate, brake, or go up and down on the road, there is a crunching or punching feeling in the seat right around the middle back area.

Your front seats are causing neck and shoulder pain during driving. The seat design pushes your head forward and doesn't provide adequate upper shoulder support, making it uncomfortable for long drives. You've contacted Toyota for help, but they've declined to assist with the design issue. Addressing this may require seat replacement, cushion modifications, or consulting with a dealer about available seat adjustment options.

Your driver's seat makes popping or cracking sounds in the middle-to-upper back area during acceleration and braking, which is distracting and concerning. You're worried that if a part inside the seat is loose enough to move during normal driving, it could cause injury in a serious accident. This issue appears to affect multiple 2025 Camrys based on other owner reports. The fix will likely involve inspecting the seat frame and internal components for loose parts, and tightening or replacing whatever is moving.

Your driver's seat backrest moves and makes loud crunching or creaking sounds when you lean back and forward, starting just days after purchase. This movement affects your stability while turning, accelerating, and braking, and you're concerned it won't provide adequate support in a crash. The dealership inspected it but found no obvious problem and suggested you'd need to live with it. The issue likely requires inspection and possible repair or replacement of the seat frame or reclining mechanism.

Your driver's seat lumbar support is loose and shifts forward while driving, pressing uncomfortably against your lower back—especially when braking. This problem becomes more noticeable during longer drives over 20 minutes, making the seat uncomfortable to use. Toyota has confirmed the issue but hasn't provided a repair solution yet. This will likely require the lumbar support mechanism to be tightened, adjusted, or replaced.

I am not sure if this qualifies as a safety issue, but the head rest on Camry is terrible. They are heavily tilted forward and non-adjustable (cannot tilt them back). When seated and trying to maintain a neutral posture - it is not possible, one has to keep their head tilted forward which becomes painful after a while.
