TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN SENTRA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE WAS UNABLE TO EXIT THE VEHICLE FROM THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR. SHE WAS ABLE TO OPEN THE DOOR FROM THE EXTERIOR, BUT NOT THE INTERIOR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE RECURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN BACK TO HAVE THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 61,000.

MY CAR IS A 2005 NISSAN SENTRA LIMITED EDITION THE DRIVERS DOOR WILL NOT OPEN. THE ONLY WAY I CAN OPEN IT IS IF I ROLL MY WINDOW DOWN AND REACH MY HAND OUT THE DOOR TO THE HANDLE THIS IA A SAFETY ISSUE I CONTACTED COAST NISSAN I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT 9-22-10 THEY SAID I HAVE TO PAY IT APROX COST 200.00 ,IT SHOULD BE PAID BY NISSAN NOT THE CONSUMER MY APPOINTMENT IS AT 8AM I AM HOPING THAT I CAN BE REIMBURSE FOR THE SAFETY ISSUE .I HOPE YOU STAND BEHIND YOUR PRODUCT. *TR
