While driving at highway speeds at night, you adjusted the dashboard brightness using the dimmer control on the lower left side of the dash. After reducing the brightness to about 40%, your entire instrument panel went blank, a loud alarm sounded, and you lost all gauges and displays for a few seconds before the screen restarted at full brightness. When you tried to dim the screen again, the instrument panel rebooted a second time while driving on the highway.
