Your Rogue's speed unexpectedly drops from around 75 mph down to 10-15 mph while driving on the highway, creating a serious safety hazard and near-accident situations. This has happened multiple times since May 2025, and the dealership has charged you for repairs related to the engine even though you believe it's connected to a recall. Resolving this will likely require diagnostic testing to identify the root cause in the engine control or transmission system, followed by appropriate repairs or software updates.

Your dashboard lights—including the check engine light, FEB light, master warning light, AEB light, and malfunction indicator light—are all blinking together. This started happening today and caused your car to stop suddenly while pulling into your driveway. Nissan acknowledged this is a known recall issue but told you they don't yet know how to fix it and to wait until the car breaks down completely. The fix will likely require Nissan to diagnose the underlying electrical or engine fault once they develop a recall remedy.

Your car's camera system has stopped working, and you've been waiting over a year for Nissan to address it. While Nissan issued a recall for this problem, it was limited to rental vehicles, leaving your personally-owned Rogue uncovered even though other owners are experiencing the same failure. Getting this fixed will likely involve Nissan replacing or reprogramming the camera module and its connections.

ON MAY 31ST 2025 CAR HESITATED TO START ABOUT 5MIN BEFORE STARTING BUT NO WARNING SIGNALS. CAR HAS BEEN STRUGGLING TO START MULTIPLE TIMES SINCE THEN AND ON TUESDAY 06/27/2025 CAR DID NOT WANT TO START AGAIN AND HAD A WARNING OF ENGINE MALFUNCTION POWER REDUCED SERVICE NOW WITH A LOT OF BEEPING. I TOOK IT BY AUTOZONE AND WAS TOLD THEY WERE UNABLE TO REACH IT TO CHECK IT ( NOT SURE WHAT THAT MEANT) SO HE RECOMMENDED SWITCHING OUT THE KEYFOB BATTERY TO SEE IF THAT WOULD HELP BUT THE VEHICLE IS STILL HESITANT TO START AND THEN SOMETIMES THE VEHICLE DOES NOT DRIVE CORRECTLY. Photo listed is from 06/27/2025 when the vehicle finally showed a warning sign.

Engine: Ever since purchasing my rogue i had to take it to the dealership 3 separate times for engine mounts to be replaced due to shaking when car is idle. Electrical: Camera system stops working all of a sudden at 50k miles and unable to use reverse camera and will not work when clicking on camera button. I have had significant problems with this car. Within the first month, I had to replace the battery. In September 2024 the car went from 70 mph to 40 mph with no warning and then the engine malfunction lights came on. It was supposedly fixed by Jeff Wyler Nissan Colerain. In October of 2024 the exact same thing occurred. We went from 70 mph to 40 mph and were stranded for hours yet again. Jeff Wyler Nissan Eastgate supposedly fixed the problem this time with new electrical components. Most recently, in December of 2024, the exact thing occurred AGAIN. We went from 70 to 40 and had to have the car towed for the third time in three months and the fourth time in 2 years. It is currently at Jeff Wyler Eastgate again - supposedly waiting on a temperature component - which they think is the engine problem. All of these incidences occurred on a highway and could have had devastating consequences.

I first experienced an issue with my Rogue in late December 2023 with the heat going out and the fans were producing minimal air through the vents. I brought the car to the dealer January 2nd, 2024. It took a week for Nissan to diagnose the issue as engine related (engine knocking prior to total heat failure, and metal shavings in the oil pan) and another 3 weeks for them to order and install a brand new engine. In May I brought the car back to the dealer because the AC wasn’t working. They fixed that within a week. Didn’t seem to be engine related. Recently I experienced (Friday 6/14/2024) loss of power, whereby my vehicle stalled while driving at 55 mph. No warning lights came on, no alarm bells or signals popped up on my dashboard. As my vehicle began to decline in speed, a note displayed on my dash that stated the engine stalled and pull over safely. I was able to coast the car into a turn lane with my flashers on. The engine then died at full stop. I had to have it towed to the dealer as the vehicle bogged out once it started. Ultimately, it continued to stall out. The dealer notified me today that my engine failed again and that they would have to replace the engine again. I will hear from them again once they determine if they will replace the engine or if they may offer to buy back the car.
