The front passenger seat in my 2022 Nissan Pathfinder is too low making the seat uncomfortable to sit in. Nissan told me to call the safety board to start a recall.

My Toddler was seated (in the car seat that was buckled into ) the second row bucket seat. While driving the vehicle we hit a bump in the road which then launched the back passenger seat up and forward pinning my child between the two seats. His face smashed into the front passenger seat headrest which caused forced injury to his head. The EZ seat button could not have been reached by my child due to them being in a car seat. This has been reported to the manufacture of Nissan. There are no warnings for this feature.

The drivers side heated seat has stopped working. My car is no longer under warranty so I decided to research this. When researching this topic, A LOT of other people have discussed having the same exact issue with the same exact seat. In fact, there are people who have discussed having their heated seat fixed and even THAT stops working. I do not want to spend money on an issue that is a consistent problem, on top of being a issue after being fixed. This issue began happening around 37,000 miles, right after my warranty expired. There were no warning signs. I also worry with it being a faulty product, will the electrical component of it catch fire.

While I was driving my toddler who was in the 3rd row pushed the bottom located at the back of the 2nd row seat. The seat came foward with my baby who was in his carseat causing him to come foward at a really high speed (since the seat moves foward really fast and with impulse) causing him to hit his head and almost causing me to crash. I had to stop in the middle of where I was driving since my baby was screaming and crying and couldn't breath since he was being squished by the seat. The seat is very heavy and hard to push back in case of an emergency from someone sitting in the back row. You have to actually get down to be able to put it back in it's place.

Driver and passenger seats are too low. Passenger seat is not adjustable and the set height would harm a passenger in a collision. Seat spacers or risers should be required as a fix from Nissan.

I own a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder. The front passenger seat is far too low. I am 6' it's feels extremely low and I feel I can hit my head on the dash. However, for people at or under 5'2", it is downright dangerous, resulting in striking heads on the dashboard. the NHTSA needs to look into this poorly designed front passenger seat issue before people get hurt. The current controls do not adjust the seat to go up on the front passenger except for the front driver side. Nissan has not done this except for the 2023 models have the front passenger seat adjust. This is a safety issue that needs to be investigated and corrected immediately.

The drivers and passenger seats in front are extremely low and can barely see over dash. Drivers side is at its highest with controls. Passenger seat does not adjust. Seems that it is a safety issue if in accident. Head would hit dash. These seats should be raised up.

Passenger seat is extremly low, anyone under 5 ft 2 will smash into dashboard in a wreck. Called Nissan and also noted hundreds of complaints online. They changed the seat in the 2023 model to fix the issue, but are ignoring the 2022's

Passenger seat is too low/not equal to driver’s seat. Driver’s seat has 10-way functions including raising the seat up and down. Passenger seat does not. My wife can’t see over the hood clearly and there may be an accident where she might hit the dashboard or the airbags might injure her when triggered because the seat is too low. In fact, she sits on a separate seat cushion which is ridiculous.

I own a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum. Front passenger seat is so poorly designed for people at or under 5'2". This seat should have designed just like the driver side seat, meaning it should also move up and down. My wife almost hit her fore ahead few times. She stopped sitting in the front seat because of the low seat position. i also heard from other people. I called the Nissan dealer but unsuccessful to make them listen to this issue. NHTSA should look into this poorly designed front passenger seat issue before people get hurt. Thanks.

I have a Pathfinder 2022, SL and a Rogue 2021, both are SL vehicles with the Premium package. My concern is that the passenger seat on the Pathfinder is extremely low. I have had adult passengers in the front and they appear to be virtually on the floor. The issue is that in the event of an accident an average size adult will go directly in to the dash board. I believe it is a design flaw and that any test crash would show that the seat is too low or must be modified to enable the passenger to adjust the height up or down.

The passenger seat is extremely low and passenger can't see out over dashboard. I believe this to be a danger with the airbags. There is no way to adjust the height and it is a power seat. The driver side adjusts height but barely high enough for short drivers..Lots of complaints online. Please have them put in a fix for this as could be a danger in the future. People are trying to fix this with homemade material made into risers also a danger.
