I bought a vehicle from Woods Nissan in Lees Summit, MO, on [XXX], and in a week I went back for details, and the car would not start. They checked and claimed nothing was wrong, and I took their word for it. I took the car to KC Auto Clinic in Independence, MO, and they found it was the judder system, which they said was an issue they were seeing in many Nissan vehicles.

I was driving on a busy highway and when I went to accelerate after slowing down in traffic my pathfinder started to shake and shudder and would not accelerate forward. I not only almost got rear ended but I almost got into a head on collision because I was at an intersection. The car just lost all power all of a sudden.

Transmission when pressing on the gas happens anytime at any speed, the whole car shakes and the vehicle doesn't want to speed up. Was merging onto highway and pressed on the acceleration just a little bit and the vehicle did not want to speed up. All it did for a few seconds was shake and shimmy the vehicle.

When accelerating and maintains normal commuter speeds 34-70mph the transmission is loud and in instances jerks as if it is not catching the next gear. My car is 4yrs old with 77k miles and there shouldn't be a need for a new transmission, which local nissan dealer says I need. Cooling fan-after turning on the vehicle and the a/c a knocking and rattling noise came from the engine. When I took it in, the dealership said it is a "warped cooling fan" and that if it breaks completely will not cool the engine and will cause the engine to fail as well. The vehicle is a 2015 with 54,000 miles on it.

Judder is found between 20-25 miles for more than 5 second when accelerating smoothly. The mechanic recorded the judder and sent it to the engineer. The engineer at corporate nissan told us that it is a normal thing but any car shouldn't have a judder(especially 2015 newest model).

In the last several weeks, I am experiencing loss of acceleration for my nissan pathfinder 2015 (33,000 miles). For some reasons, there is no acceleration nor RPM increased when I floored the gas pedal for several seconds after releasing the gas pedal (coasting) due to traffic stops or want to make a turn or after full stop. While towing under the capacity of the vehicle tow specification, the vehicle dropped out of cruise control (set at 65 MPH). This caused an unexpected slowdown of almost 20 MPH and my family and I feared getting hit at that speed (45 in a 65 when people are driving at 75 or more). Nissan technicians witnessed this happen.
