2015 Nissan Pathfinder Cruise Control Problems

While driving my Pathfinder, the transmission hesitated, jerked, and spuddered while trying to merge into traffic. Almost caused a severe accident. This was not the first time this has happened and Nissan refuses to do anything about the CVT transmission that apparently has been recalled in the past as well as had lawsuits against it.

On multiple occasions (at least 6 - twice within 10 minutes of each other), when turning after slowing down or being at a complete stop, the car seems to lose power. It will not accelerate unless your foot is taken off the gas pedal and the gas pedal is pressed down again. It a a safety concern because there has been oncoming traffic when this has happened.

While towing a load, the vehicle without warning dis engages the cruise control and cause a safety hazard. I almost got rear ended by an 18 wheeler!!! Very dangerous and needs fixed.

When turning the vehicle stalls. Unable to accelerate. Break light switch relay.already a previous recall.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 nissan pathfinder. While driving 25 MPH, the accelerator pedal was applied, but failed to respond. The vehicle stalled without warning.

1)Vehicle has been repaired 3 times in the last 2 weeks for a brake switch issue that is causing the vehicle not to recognize the brake is pushed causing the car not being able to start. This has been an intermittent issue for 18 months and was told the recall fixed it, which it didn't. 2)Dealership service department is now telling me that other issues have arisen since trying to fix issue #1.

To whom it may concern; I hope that this email doesn't fall under deaf ears and someone can reach out and assist me with my vehicle problem. This is a safety concern and needs your immediate attention. I have taken the vehicle to my local dealership who has informed me that this is a manufactory problem.

Engine rattling, turned out to be a faulty radiator cooling fan. Needed to replace whole fan assembly after 50,000 miles. Intermittently brake lights will stay on when car is parked, draining the battery.

I purchased my nissan in august of 2018. It only had a little over 23k miles. On 12/22/2018 I took my vehicle to baron nissan where I purchased it and advised that the vehicle would not accel when speed was below 20 miles per hour.

Loss of power while in motion from a 35 MPH zone and went down to 20 MPH release gas pedal and regained power. I see the same issue reported other posts. Please investigate before the loss of life.

The brake lights remained on while driving and after the vehicle was shut off. At several points, the accelerator stopped working while driving, this happened on a four-lane street and on residential streets.

When trying to accelerate after braking for a traffic signal, often I cannot get the car to accelerate past 10 MPH. I shift into neutral, back into drive, and can accelerate properly. I have taken my vehicle to wolfchase nissan in bartlett, tn.
