Your airbag warning light keeps turning on even though the dealership's diagnostic scan shows no problems, which is concerning since you can't be sure the airbags will deploy properly in a crash. Additionally, your car experiences a serious transmission problem where it suddenly loses power and won't accelerate on the highway even when you press the gas pedal, making it unsafe to drive at highway speeds for the past year—this issue also doesn't show up on diagnostic scans. Both problems suggest potential underlying electrical or mechanical faults that may require deeper diagnostics, a transmission fluid and filter service, or replacement of faulty sensors or transmission components.

Your passenger-side headrest popped out while driving and struck you in the head. Although Jeep issued a recall for this problem on some Compass models, your 2016 wasn't included—you're asking why. When you visited the dealership, they said the headrest is no longer manufactured and wouldn't replace it under warranty. The fix would require Jeep to source and install a replacement front seat headrest assembly, or the dealership to retrofit a compatible part.

Vehicle displayed an air bag light for the passenger seat. I disconnected the battery let it sit for an hour. Then I cycled the key to run and back to off. I checked the seat connectors and detached and reattached the connectors. Then reinitializes the battery. I got in the vehicle turned the key on and cleared the codes with a obd2 tool. When the airbag module cleared the side curtain and front airbags deployed with the vehicle not running.
Airbag light came on for about four days I called dealership but then went off for a week, so appointment was canceled. After that airbag light came on again scheduled another appointment by time I reached dealership light was back off. After diagnostic was performed results came back Airbag Module Internal Failure needed to be replaced and reprogram
I was driving my vehicle and out of nowhere the airbag in the driver's seat exploded. The vehicle is available for inspection. I almost wrecked. The vehicle has not been inspected by thr manufacturer yet. I left a message for the service manager at my local jeep dealership. There were no warning lights on prior to deployment.
